  • “This hotel is strategically located near metro stations (10min walk to the nearest), and 5 to 10 min walk to the main pedestrian area of Osaka with Glicko, where all the food businesses and night activities are located. I've booked other Toyoko Inn rooms before, and although some would describe it as simple, the room and the service never disappoint me and meet my expectations. Room was well furnished, clean, with all I need and ask (non-smoking). Breakfast was provided and offers mainly Japanese food (which I personally was satisfied with) ; there are few but limited options if you prefer Western breakfast style.”

“Super helpful and friendly staff. Housekeeping was exceptional. Great location and despite being next to the train station it’s quiet at night.”

  • Comfort Hotel Hikone Review score: 9

“The breakfast provided a big choice of Japanese and Western food. Being a vegan is difficult in Japan so this breakfast was a great start to my day. The hotel is just across the road from the station and an easy walk to Hikone Castle. The room was big by Japanese standards with a big window and a nice view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There's also a good laundromat on the property. It's possible to leave luggage before check-in and after check-out.”

  • “Onsen in the hotel was great.”

  • The OneFive Kyoto Shijo Review score: 9

“The hotel is right in front of a bus stop (we mainly used buses to move around) so that was convenient. Staff was very nice and helped us shipping luggage. Room was quite big and clean. They have a day pass machine in the hall.”
