“This property had everything we needed for a family holiday with a tiny baby. It would have equally suited older family members. The house had lots of room for baby bits and pieces including play-mat in the lounge. We could have fitted the travel cot in any of the bedrooms. There was also invaluable access to a washing machine. There were 2 bedrooms downstairs including a double with an en-suite, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower over, and then two bedrooms (a double and a twin) upstairs with separate bathroom with bath and shower too. The lounge had a good number of sofas and a good picture on the tv. There was a large dining room table with 8 chairs. There was a beautiful garden with a washing line and a friendly neighbourhood cat.. There was a large ‘draw back’ patio window with table and chairs with large umbrella outside for alfresco breakfasts in the morning sun. The garden isn’t overlooked. To the front there was enough room for 2 cars on the drive, that slopes toward the house. There is a bus stop just a few steps away on the same road, but we didn’t use it. You can’t see the sea from the property, but you can hear the lions/tigers/lemurs from the animal sanctuary on the main sea road(definitely worth a visit). Although to the south east of the island, we found it easy to get to all places of interest. We would definitely return, as there was so much to do, we didn’t have time to do it all!”

“Excellent first impressions, fantastic building and apartment with a beautiful view.”

  • “No food was provided with my booking but a hamper of treats was provided. I had stopped in Yarmouth to buy provisions for my stay before I caught the bus to the stop near to the accommodation. Basic items like tea, coffee, sugar, toiletries, cooking oil, salt and pepper were all provided”

  • “All facilities”

  • “I lovely secluded cabin, nice kitchen, comfy bed and clean bathroom. Nice little garden area, great host”

  • “Very clean and modern with full working appliances, nice fresh bed linen and towels and well decorated.”

  • “There is a lot of good accommodation around these days so it is the little touches that make the difference which in this case included croissants in the freezer, towels and treats for the dogs, tea, coffee, milk and granola a hot water bottle, facial wipes, clothes steamer, hairdryer and an information guide put together by the host. Many places say that they accept dogs but in this case they we positively welcomed. The accommodation was well designed with shelves, ledges and space for all your belongings. Immaculately clean. Reserved parking space directly to the front of the property. Excellent location of exploring the island with great local pubs and restaurants within a short drive. The dogs also enjoyed the playing field directly across the road for their morning and last thing run.”

  • “The bed was supremely comfortable. Great attention to detail. Extremely helpful and accommodating host.”

“Location was good, however road closure affecting public transport did cause changes in daily plans.”
