Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWiFi signal was pretty intermittent unless we were on central level of apartment.
Location fantastic, opposite a lovely little park and 10 minutes walk from the beach and town centre. There's a small supermarket and local shops in Ventnor and it's about 15 minutes drive to big Morrisons. Flat was very clean and very comfortable, extremely well equipped - access to keys etc went without a hitch. The big living room is fantastic. Parking space a bonus - on street was not really available. The street is quiet - we weren't aware of any noise at all. We didn't find the bathroom situation in the least bit inconvenient.

United KingdomThe WiFi was unstable at times and the signal coverage could be better throughout the property. Also the description states that the property has two bathrooms, it is actually a cloakroom with a WC and hand basin and a separate bathroom with a WC and bath upstairs so it is a bit misleading.
Lovely apartment, very clean and very well maintained. Excellent customer service and communication by the owner. We had great time!

United KingdomThe reason that I marked the facilities down slightly was that we found some of the information describing the property rather confusing. For example one of the published reviews actually states that the property had two bathrooms. This was one feature that was a major attraction, although the official amenity description proved accurate. One minor glitch was that the update of the key box code was sent in late evening the day before we left home and gave us too little time to open it. Some visitors may even incorporate an overnight stop in travelling and might therefore be left in the same position. Fortunately someone responded to the doorbell and all was well! Following on from that there was some difficulty in getting the key into the lock on the outer door. Either a tumbler was sticking or the key was worn. At one point the boiler needed resetting as it did not fire up. We managed to achieve this after following the instructions.
The apartment was in excellent order throughout. The park opposite the property is amazingly well looked after and provides a great area for outdoor relaxation and makes up for the lack of outdoor garden at the property. Provision of electrical equipment within the property was excellent. The host was very obliging in allowing us to delay the original departure time.

United KingdomThe apartment is on the first floor and on three levels. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties since there is a main staircase up to the first floor and stairs between each floor. There is no lift. The entry level has a main bedroom and wc. The lounge and kitchen are on the first floor and the second bedroom and bathroom on the topmost floor.
It is an atractive property, well maintained and equipped. It is located in a quiet part of the town and within easy reach of Ventnor park and cliff to walks. There is also a high-level easy walk into the town centre where a pharmacy, grocery store post office and places to eat are close to each other. The owner was really courteous and helpful when we needed his advice.

Lovely spacious apartment, stylishly furnished and well equipped. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Beautiful park opposite which links to Ventnor beach front. A leisurely walk over the hill in the park greets one with a stunning view of the sea and the walk through the trees is lovely. This comes out at The Spyglass Inn which has really good food. Off street parking and wifi good. Definitely recommend a stay here.
