Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe bathroom floor and shower were not well cleaned. The bedroom blind was difficult for me to operate - the pulley was so high that I was on tiptoe trying to reach it (I’m about 5’4”). It is extremely slow to raise or lower the long blind, so I had to mostly leave it down. The bollard padlock that protects the parking bay was too stiff for me to open, though I eventually managed it once. A kind neighbour helped me when I first arrived, but thereafter I had to leave it unlocked.
The property is central, close to all shops. The kitchen is particularly good, with a home-from-home assurance that everything is available., pristine, and good quality. The reception area is spacious and well decorated, with good tv, etc. There is a glass table for four, well-positioned by the window over the High Street. The bathroom is well fitted and quite spacious, although I couldn’t turn in the towel rail. The safe, dedicated parking spot is a real bonus in a busy town centre, even though it’s a few minutes’ walk away.

The instructions to find the property, door code and parking were excellent. The property itself was welcoming, clean and well appointed. It was well located, central in Ventnor which meant we could leave the car and walk around the town easily.

We enjoyed the location, just 5 minutes from the beach, grocery shops and restaurants - two steps away, all you need is here. United KingdomNoisy area. Unable to have bedroom window open because of loud TV until 3am and someone shouting on their mobile. But even closed windows don't keep out the crashing and banging of the supermarket delivery early in the morning. Probably fine if you're used to it 🤣
The apartment is lovely inside. Well equipped kitchen and great for appliances! Easy to get to by public transport.
