We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant and liked the atmosphere of the pub. We took a walk through the tiny village and were amazed at the post office/general store which sold everything imaginable and is open seven days a week.”
“We recently stayed at this hotel in the Isle of Skye and booked two rooms for one night. While one room was acceptable, the other had a persistent bad smell that never went away, making the stay quite uncomfortable. The facilities were old and basic, and we even found hairs on one of the towels provided. The staff were neither friendly nor rude, just indifferent. On the positive side, the hotel is in a good location, which was convenient for our plans. However, given the issues we encountered, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.”
