  • “I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It was very homey and had a really friendly and comfortable vibe. There were bus stops nearby which could take you several neighbouring towns/areas. A car/ride is required to get up the Hidden Valley. I could also see the staff worked hard to clean the place every day.”

  • Blackwater Glamping Pods Review score: 10

“I can’t tell you how welcome the warm reception of the lovely lady was at check in. The weather was appalling and we had had a difficult day walking - we were warmly welcomed and the accommodation was immaculately clean and sooo warm and comfortable! Highly highly recommended!”

  • West Highland Lodge Review score: 6

“Overall ok budget accomodation, near the centre (but that's quite easy in a small town), and fair enough to crash down after a long hike. The kitchen is well equipped, the showers are hot, there's a comfortable tv lounge and a dry room available.”

  • The Ballachulish Hotel Review score: 9

“It was in a great location with a fabulous view of the loch. Our room was nicely appointed and though didn’t have a view from the window ,the room was very quiet and comfortable. Restaurant was nice with a good selection of choices . Breakfast was delicious and included. Off street parking was excellent.”
