  • Alexanders Review score: 8

“Fantastic location, right across the road from the beach and we had a seaview room too! Great communication from the hosts for our self-check in and throughout our stay via the chat on Booking.com. Overall a nice room with a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities, good storage space. Parking 1 minute away in an underground car park (RingGo) at Carlisle Place. A choice of breakfast (full English, vegetarian and omelette), plus tea and coffee and cereal. Train station a 10 minute walk away.”

  • Black Rock House Review score: 10

  • The Griffin Inn Review score: 10

“Always welcoming. Comfortable with a gentle atmosphere. Easy trip to Glyndebourne for the Opera season. Relaxing countryside walks and Flecthing is a little (and often surprising) gem.”

  • Seaview Sanctuary Review score: 9

“Seaview Sanctuary B&B is very comfortable and "homey" with great views of the ocean. The location is wonderful: close to the town centre and pier. There is ample opportunity for walking along the sea front. Friendly hosts Richard and Katie pay attention to detail, even providing home baked cakes for complimentary afternoon tea in the conservatory. Personalised continental breakfasts are ample and good value. I will definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises.”
