  • “The place was bright, modern, clean and spacious. The owners left loads of little details like water, cookies, oat milk, etc which made me feel more welcome. Definitely recommend!”

  • Number Three Review Score: 8

“Easy check in, small but functional room, seemed clean, was reasonably quiet while I stayed, good value for me”

  • “Mr Gino was fantastic and made special arrangements for my early check-in. Thanks immensely. 😊”

  • Magnolia House, Rye Review Score: 9

“We chose Magnolia House because it was only a five/ten minute walk into Rye and there was parking. It turned out to exceed expectations. Check in was very easy. The room was lovely, very clean and spacious. Javed was very welcoming and his home cooked breakfast was amazing. There was even home made bread! We were very interested to see the work that’s been done to make this an eco property. We would definitely recommend Magnolia House as a good base for Rye and the surrounding area.”

“Lovely location. Lovely breakfast room. Lovely host.”

  • Brighton House Review Score: 8

“Stairs weren't too steep, bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good, especially the range of breakfast items. The staff were very respectful and polite. The check-in and out process was reasonable and quick and overall I enjoyed my stay.”

  • A Room With A View Review Score: 10

“The view, staff member and location were the highlight for us. the view was exactly as you see in the photo and very clean. The staff members were so considered and the service level was exceptional, they left a birthday card and a bottle of Prosecco to us to celebrate my husband 50th Bday. we were touched by it. The location is great! it's quiet but yet not too far from the fun activities.”

  • Trading Boundaries Review Score: 7

“Interesting place, not a hotel as such- the accommodation is more of a side-line to the owners' other businesses. (The set-up is a shop, art gallery, café, music and wedding venue.) Warmly welcomed, the courtyard room was spacious and comfortable. And quiet.”
