We loved the welcoming and warm family feeling Jo gave us! She made us excellent breakfasts and was very helpful with tips and ideas. We would definitely recommend Barons Granary and certainly come back if we ever are in the area again! Thank you Jo and Ed for a wonderful stay!!

We thought it was perfect, so quiet and peaceful. The bedroom was lovely and roomy with high quality bed linen. The bathroom had a good sized bath. Having a lounge to relax in and a table for two for our breakfast. There was also a great wood burner. But the place was so warm and inviting. The highlight was the lovely Jo who made us so welcome and was very knowledgeable about the local area. Thank you so much , we will definitely be returning.

Nothing. Honestly this place is brilliant!

Beautiful, peaceful countryside location, which is very spacious and has parking immediately outside. Exceptionally clean and well maintained - in fact probably the best place we’ve ever stayed - not a mark or stain anywhere! Bedding was nice, lots of extra blankets in the cupboard if needed and a blanket in the living room if it’s not cold enough for the fire. Very comfortable sofa with lots of space to stretch out. Lovely homely decor and lovely clean bathroom! There was no limescale or mould anywhere in sight! There are 5 star hotels who could learn a thing or two from this property!! Jo was a fantastic host - very welcoming and provided us with a lovely breakfast each day. There was also fruit, chocolates and soft drinks available, along with great selection of teas and coffee and fresh milk in the room. The breakfast was of high quality and good variety available. We love coming to Rye and will definitely come back to stay again.

It was very clean; peaceful and comfortable. The host was welcoming and made it extra special by adding extras eg : chocolates; fruit and biscuits.

Exceptional little property attached to owners house but still really private with living room bathroom and double bedroom. The owner provided little creature comforts to make our stay even more comfortable. There is a small fridge for anything you want to keep chilled. Milk was proved every day as were biscuits, tea and coffee with the kettle that is in the bedroom. A small selection of canned soft drinks were also left in the fridge each day. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cereals, yogurts, fruit and toast asking with a cooked English breakfast. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one and anything we asked her for was not any trouble at all.

The bed could have been bigger.

Excellent B&B with spacious bedroom, bathroom and large separate lounge. Quiet rural location. Hosts Jo & Ed couldn't have been any more pleasant and helpful. Fantastic breakfast consisting of cereals, fresh fruit pieces, yoghurts, juices, Actimel, toast with jam / honey as well as a full English.

Couldn't think of anything not to like!

Warm and friendly reception on a rainy night, the extra luxury of a sitting room with thoughtful choice of year-round entertainment for adults and children, super central heating and the lack of notices telling us how to behave! We were treated like friends. Love to come back when we're visiting relatives in the area.

The property was gorgeous and really felt like a home away from home. Jo, our host, was such a wonderful person who really made the stay perfect! She made an incredible breakfast, even going as far as putting a candle in it for my partner on the morning of his birthday which was such a lovely touch! The rooms themselves were decorated beautifully and were incredibly clean and comfortable. I honestly have nothing bad to say and will definitely be returning.

There were no faults at all. Our stay couldn’t have been any better.

The WiFi was quite poor but chose this place to get away from technology.

The location was perfect. Jo the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Her breakfast was top class also! Great value for money, only about 5-10 minutes drive to Rye centre. Place very clean and very beautiful area. Would visit again in the future.

The water pressure was sometimes low.

It was in such a lovely quiet place, yet close to so many local attractions. It was comfortable and spotless in the suite. The extras were great, especially the bath products! Breakfast was just right with lots of choice. Jo so thoughtful and helpful.
