  • Hotel Resol Trinity Sapporo Review score: 10

“The room size was similar to most Japan hotel room sizes. There was an amenity bar (hairbrush, toothbrush, cotton swabs etc.) in the lobby. The location of the hotel was excellent, with a train station entrance across the road and a very short walking distance to convenience stores, restaurants and shops. The hotel also directly faced Odori Park which provided a lovely view and meant noise wasn't an issue. Moreover, the hotel unexpectedly had a Communal Bath on the top floor which was what I liked the most. I was able to enjoy the onsen after a long day of exploring the beautiful city! The onsen was fully equipped with amenities and even had a refrigerator with popsicles.”

  • Takinoya Bekkan Tamanoyu Review score: 9

“Very beautiful ryokan. Wonderful onsen. Our tatami room had a private toilet and washbasin and the room was very spacious. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Front of house is very kind and helpful, they waited for us on the side of the road to bring us in. The receptionist also recommended a great soba restaurant for lunch.”
