“Location was fabulous. Room decorated top notch. The bathroom was out of this world! Service was fabulous, although it was unique in that it was selfcheckin which we loved, nick was quick to reply to our messages”

“From arriving later than we expected amd checking out early the next morning, the staff were absolutely fantastic!! All very polite.
The food was delicious....there was a wait for the food, however it was very much worth it once it arrived.
The bedrooms were lovely and cosy , we all had a very good night's sleep.
We also had a packed lunch made for us as we departed early.
After a huge hike up Skafell Pike and a dip in the river leading to wastwater, we headed back to the bridge Inn for a perfect tea of scampi and chips before making our way home back to lancashire - the chunky chips are absolutely amazing!! Made the way chips should be made - the old fashioned way.

“With being a few minute drive away from Lake Windermere, the location was great. The guest house was lovely on the inside and out; modern yet rural. The coffee machine and complementary biscuits are a warming touch.”
“The rooms were lovely, modern and clean (cleaner in there everyday), the bed was really comfortable and the staff were so and accommodating and friendly! The restaurant exceeded our expectations with different specials everyday.”
“Phil and Helen are very warm and welcoming hosts and genuinely epitomise the authentic British bed and breakfast experience. Their interaction with guests is friendly, engaging and respectful and genuinely reflects the quote in their accommodation "enter as strangers and depart as friends". Phil generously shared his tips on photography and walks to do around the area, which we greatly appreciated and adopted”
