“The location is superb, as is the view. The dorm was great. I'd stay here again for sure. Staff were friendly, even if very busy and distracted.”
“I absolutely LOVED this hostel. It's just a beautiful as the photos show. The character of the heritage building is lovely. It oozes with the feeling of a secluded summer lodge, yet is close enough to interlaken to get to everything easily.
The staff were kind, helpful and welcoming.
They provided me gluten free buns for breakfast.”
“Comfortable and convenient for Interlaken West station, which is not the main station, but on check-in a guest card is provided that gives free travel on local buses and between the two rail stations for the duration of your stay. There are a couple of good supermarkets and many restaurants within easy walking distance. The breakfast was simple but very good for pastries and coffee. There is also a common room and roof terrace with free coffee, tea, hot water available all day.”
“Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Particularly the young South African barman. Great to sit around the bar and talk to other tourists. Downstairs, lots of old world charm. Close to bars and restaurants. Easy access to Lauterbrunnen by car, bus, or train. Washing machine and dryer. Kettle and microwave downstairs. Great view from our window. Plenty of parking.”
“This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was in a quiet location not far from the railway station and other tourist facilities. The host was very welcoming and friendly the hotel provided all that’s important for a visit to Interlaken. I congratulate the host for a hotel that has won several awards through careful planning with the guest in mind. Well done.”
“It had everything we needed”
“We had a comfort room, there was a fridge and electric kettle (no tea or coffee), there were enough outlets. The room was spacious, and modern, with kitchen-like area (there are counters and sink, but no cooking option). Sleeping was just fabulous - medium firm mattress, very soft and large blankets. The view is of course fantastic. Personal was very friendly and helpful.

There were bowls and 2 mats for the dog. Welcome treatoes were already awaiting in the bowls upon arrival 🥰
Breakfast was very ordinary.
I'd really recommend lunch menu (available on weekdays until 2pm), I found it even more delicious than the main menu, and it's also cheaper.”
“Good quiet location with tram stop to station & old town centre very close by, although comfortable walking distance. Room was nice & clean, comfy bed & pillows.”
“We enjoyed having our own place (little mobile home) with a frig, our own bathroom/shower, and falling asleep to the sound of the river close by. We loved getting warm bread in the morning from the little store there.”
