“This cute little homestay is a real treasure. The place is well maintained, clean, beautiful and situated just outside the noise of the main streets. However the real gem of this homestay was our host Vasantha, he is easily the nicest person we have met in Sri Lanka and he always went out of his way to accommodate us.
He can arrange an array of activities for you like an Anuradhapura ancient city tour, safaris to Wilpattu or Minneriya and many more all at very competitive and honest prices. He also has a license as a tourist driver and can drive you literally anywhere in his clean and comfortable car which even has wifi! He drove my wife and I to Kandy with a few stops along the way to visit important landmarks and it was one of our best experiences as he is very knowledgeable about Sri Lanka and we learned so much just talking to him during the whole ride.
Finally, do not hesitate to ask him and his wife to cook you diner as it is absolutely delicious and you will learn more about Sri Lankan cuisine!
We cannot recommend this homestay enough, anyone planning to spend a few nights in Anuradhapura should definitely stay there!”
