We had a wonderful stay at Ceylonima. The food was simply delicious, we felt very welcome and Kanchi and Mapa helped us a lot with our broken tuktuk. Would very much recommend to stay here!

A very nice homestay looked after by a lovely family. Not only did we get to taste some traditional Sri Lankan cuisine for breakfast, but they also prepared some lovely homemade dinner for their visitors upon request.

We stayed in Anuradhapura for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony where we could sit outside and have breakfast. The food was nice, and it’s a great option to have since it’s a bit farther out from the city and there’s not a ton of choices for restaurants. Very nice and helpful hosts, helping us arrange tuk tuks, etc. and we got to try some fruit from their garden. All in all, a really nice stay.

This lovely accommodation is located just outside of Anuradhapura and away from the main road, so it is very quiet. The owners are extremely friendly, attentive and humorous. We had a lovely and clean room. The food was also very tasty. A clear recommendation, we would love to come back!

There are some small bugs around the drain maybe because of the humidity, but no big deal :)

The distance between the homestay and the ancient city is acceptable if you have your own vehicle. Mapa and his wife were super nice and they offered authentic local dinner (expense charged on top of the room charges). Breakfast was great!

Mapa and Kanchi were great hosts and arranged everything for us: transfers to and from their hotel, a guided tour of Anuradhapura, dinner and even company :) Kanchi greeted us on our arrival with tea and chatted a bit, even shared a few local customs. Mapa came to greet us in the evening, drank a beer with us and even facilitated our coming together with another guest, which made the evening lively. The dinner cooked by Kanchi was really good, we couldn't stop eating. The room itself was spotless clean and very comfortable, the terrace a great addition for spending the evening outside and taking meals. The next morning, both our hosts came to say hi over breakfast. Unfortunately their car had just suffered damages which kept them busy so they couldn't show us around as planned but they arranged a tour guide for us instead, at no extra charge. Mapa and Kanchi are the soul of the hotel. It was a heart-warming stay.

we had a wonderful stay. Our hosts, Mapa and Kanesh, were welcoming, generous, and spent time talking and laughing with us. Mapa is a wonderful guide and took us to many places with wonderful explanations, truly enriching our experience! Kanesh is an amazing cook, and the food was delicious. The entire place is spotless, the room was very comfortable.

Kanchi and Mapa are the friendliest people ever. This place deserves a 5 star rating. The room was nice and the dinner that Kanchi cooked was amazing, you MUST eat there. We ate with the other guest and had such a fun time there. We helped them in the kitchen en just sat there to chat with them. Mapa's brother guided us around in Anuradhapura, so that was also very easy to arrange. The hospitality of these people is amazing. If you stay here I promise you won't regret it. Just book it!

It was the mosquito season, but there were coils etc. to ward them off.

Everything was great.

The couple running this home stay is amazing. Warm, welcoming, funny and relaxed. They make you feel at home. We had a very tasty home cooked dinner both evenings and I was also welcomed into their kitchen to have a tea. Room was great, with good airconditioning and a private balcony to relax. If you are driving your own tuktuk, you can park on their place. You can book your tours with them as well. The host is an official guide who speaks great English and will certainly give you a good experience.

The host was very helpful and kind. They do everything they can to make you feel welcome. They arranged a taxi for us, we did a tour, they cook a delicious meal and we even stayed for a.few.drinks with the owner. Such wonderful and kind people. Definitely recommend

Mapa and Kanchi are very friendly and make the stay a big success! The room is clean and beds are fine. They can arrange several thing to do and even provide guidance the whole day! Food is really nice and made by themselves. They want to always do the extra step to make you feel happy. One of the best stays we ever had.

I had a very nice time with ceylonima. Owners are very friendly. Helpful. Foods are delicious.amazing. Room is very clean, neat. Everywhere green, i like sounds of birds. It is little far from the city. But you can visit within 10 minutes to the city by car or by tuk tuk. Owner Mapa arrange me to guided tour to old city and Mihintale mountain in the evening. I learned lot of things from him about buddhisam and culture. Thank you very much Mapa and Kanchi for your great service.
