“Our host was very friendly and gave us great recommendations about what to see and do. Her home was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was delicious.”

  • Lisnafillan Lodge Review score: 9

“This is a lovely cottage with lots of old-world charm, but very well appointed, lots of bedding, towels, seating, as well as a modern kitchen with a wide range of equipment and crockery, etc. We also really enjoyed the private space outside at the rear of the cottage and the opportunity to sit at the table and soak up the peace and quiet and the rural surroundings.”

  • Crockatinney guest house Review score: 4

“First of all check-in time is really late at between 5-6pm which is very inconvenient, yet check-out is normal at 10.30am. When we arrived at 5.30pm the receptionist had left a note for us on the front desk with our room key, then she appeared briefly on her way out to dinner. The whole experience was a blur as she rushed out. We had no idea who to contact if there was an issue or where breakfast would be and the time. The best thing about the stay was the great breakfast in the dinning room, however that wasn't served until 9am and we wanted to get going earlier than this, (yes, we stumbled across the receptionist next morning and found out where to go and when!) A really disappointing experience all round. The photo's portrayed a neat appealing two story house, but it was messy and tired.”
