Nothing really

Value for money hotel right in the heart of Tromso. Spotlessly clean with a hearty breakfast with plenty of choice. And as a bonus, I never heard one seagull unlike my stay at a nearby property.

Parking was very inconvenient, no parking space at the hotel. The reception advised us to park at the city centre public parking cavern, which was not cheap and was a few hundred metres away.

The hotel was under construction. While that did not affect us with noise or anything, the halls were a bit full. I imagine things will be really nice once completed!

We had a one night stay in Tromso as our final port from the Hurtigruten. It was very easy to get to the hotel from the docks. The Breakfast was delightful with staff on hand to ensure everything was fresh and clean. The secured luggage closet was convenient. Lots of easy to access public transportation nearby.

However, the information provided about cleaning services was inadequate and unclear, which detracted from the overall experience.

The breakfast was outs - both delicious and abundant. The spread offered a rich variety of options, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The quality of the food was excellent!

If this hotel had 2 stars I would give it 10. But for a 4-star hotel, it has minimum facilities in the room. The bathroom was equipped with only 1 bottle called hair and body shampoo. No slippers or robes. So if you need to get a 4-star convenience, you'd better choose another hotel. But as a simple hotel with excellent food it works.

The breakfast was exceptional. Tasty and has many choices. Also, there was 24-hour coffee and tea. Excellent location close to everything. Great sea view.

Nothing, actually.

It’s conveniently-located in city centre with great staff. We went to the cable car station late at night hoping to catch the midnight sun. Hotel staff Petter provided us with his personal number so that we can call him to ask for taxi call as we couldn’t do that ourselves. Also, it came with nice breakfast.

Currently under renovation and i got an old room where parts of the shower door were broken. Double bed has nothing which keeps those 2 single beds together. So you easily fall through.

Nothing to improve!

The breakfast was lovely, the room was very comfortable, including the beds and had a good bathroom. Great views onto the mountains and the park below. Loved walking out of the hotel into the town area, with shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Good transport connections too.

The twin beds were comfortable but very narrow. We had the evening buffet one night and although the food was good, the potatoes and vegetables were only Luke-warm.

Excellent location and a lovely view of the harbour from our room on the sixth floor. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge choice of food, which was well presented and of very high quality. The staff were very helpful and answered my questions before arrival promptly.

Too expensive $400 per night

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in March 2024. The hotel is situated smack in the middle of Tromso town and very close to the fjords water. All our “attraction pickups” were with 2 mins walk from the hotel. From the airport there is an express bus that drop you very close to the hotel. The ticket price is 125 NOK. For two travellers it makes sense to take a taxi to the hotel and the cost is approximately 250 NOK. We had a nice large room that accommodated 3 adults with a lot of additional space to live around. The bathroom was very large with an enclosed shower. Our Deluxe room had the view of the fjord. The breakfast spread is elaborate and the there is enough seating area for the guests. The hotel also provides a dinner buffet in week nights. We did not avail of it as Tromso has an assortment of high-end restaurants. All in all a nice hotel which is well located. However, the room prices are quite steep but that could be because we stayed around equinox when solar activity for viewing Northern lights is quite high.

Room was right, on the simple side and not window to the street to an interior hallway, but for the budget price was ok.

The room was a little smaller than expected. Not the best view. Especially when the giant cruise liners come in and block the most beautiful view on the first day. Nobodies fault though I guess.

Location was perfect. Bus stops close to get around, restaurants on the doorstep. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Everything you need there!

It's very hard to park for luggage drop. Reception is not so helpful to where we should park just for a quick drop without getting a ticket. We are a group of 8 people and have elderlies in our group, so it's not the best way to park in city parking and walk with luggage to the hotel.

Nice Room. Great Location in the city. Superb breakfast.

The rooms are small and dated but are clean and comfortable. Only one of the bedsides has a charging point. The receptionist forgot to mention that breakfast is from 8am-11am on weekends only, so we missed out on breakfast on the Monday because it closed at 10am without us realising (the breakfast staff were lovely and did offer to make us some toast).

Excellent location- right in the city centre, a very short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the pick up points for most tour buses. The Airport Express bus drops off in front of the hotel and picks up in a street nearby the hotel (you can pay for the bus ticket when you get on the bus, no need to pre-book). Exceptional buffet breakfast with a large selection of hot and cold foods and drinks.
