“The caretaker/owner was very warm and friendly, making this such a nice warm atmosphere with all the guest. The warm breakfast roll was very nice for a cold morning. The breakfast spread plus the kitchen serving warm and nice local food was a comfort coming down from a tough glasiar hike. And plenty of car park at the hotel.”
“I stayed in a basic hut and the facilities were exactly as I expected for this type of accommodation in Norway (basic bed, shared bathroom etc.). My comments are based on this kind of accommodation and not a luxury hotel. I was ski mountaineering and the location was great for this. It was sunny and warm when I was there during the day and the outside space was nice to come back to. The communal kitchen was well set up (remember you need your own plates and utensils). The owner is a well-travelled local who is incredibly knowledgeable on the local activities and high mountain routes. She was great to talk to and I think most guests seemed to be finding things to talk to her about. I would give her 11 out of 10!”
