Absolutely loved our time here! Mara was a wonderful host and great to talk to and very happy to help. It was home from home. The farmhouse is beautiful and the kitchen extremely well equipped. It's really quiet and cozy place to be, not just another stay.
Pluscamp Sandvik is located in Gaupne, just 2 km from Gaupne Old Church. Set in an old orchard, these cottages look out to the mountain and fjord. The UNESCO-listed Urnes Stave Church is 23 km away.
Our stay at the Jostedal Hotel was what we expected. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful! The rooms are small and rustic and that's what we expected for our stay. We loved the view from the terrace and our daughter loved visiting the horses next door. The rush of the river helped lull us to sleep along with the mountain air. The breakfasts had a good variety and were well prepared.
We stayed 2 nights at Jostedal Hotel to visit the nearby valleys. The location is exceptional, as well as the cleanliness and comfort of the room, which had views of two waterfalls and part of the valley. The owner was kind, funny, affectionate... and she gave us many useful explanations about dinner. Very good breakfast and dinner, in a warm room. There was a homemade strawberry jam that... Mmmm....
It was located right in Josetedalsbreen National Park. The hotel is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls and rolling hills, such a beautiful location! The staff was so kind. Our glacier walk was canceled and she helped us find other things to do in the area. There is a restaurant at the hotel and it was nice having a warm meal after a long day of driving and hiking.
Lila, the owner operator is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and has an interesting history which she was happy to share. The breakfast includes a large selection offering and was delicious, including a chance to pack a lunch for the days activities. The even dinners were outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel.

Restaurant had great prices and good quality and quantity of food. In addition, opening hours are great as it stays open until 21:00 in the evening.

Spectacular personal attention. The valley where the Hotel is located is awesome. We rented a full apartment with two rooms. We asked for a breakfast and was very good too. Also you can order box lunch for your hiking or ice walking
The staff were great and nice. Rooms were comfortable and with large space. Atmosphere is of a travelers hotel, we loved it. Locations is perfect for next day glacier tour (or end of day) 5 minutes from the glacier tourist center.
Room and bathroom had heated flooring and a heater we could adjust to fit our needs. Hostess heated up our room before our arrival. Fabulous breakfast! Try the brown cheese! It’s a special local delicacy created in Norway.
We also had booked a rafting trip and it virtually starts right there from hotel parking lot . It was awesome. Hotel stuff very nice, attentive and ready to help if needed.

it’s the perfect place to stay when visiting Jostedalsbreen or Breheimen. It is conveniently located. Breakfast is great, with enough variety to serve both vegetarians and meat lovers.
The hotel had everything we needed and more. The staff was very attentive and thoughtful. The food was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and we had gorgeous views of Jostedal.
We arrived during the low season so I think there were 2-3 more guests present. The hotel is nice and close to the glacier so a nice stop on your way to view it.
