Stayed a night for work (on Leiden University campus), room, staff and breakfast were all great. Location was perfect for me, might be a bit far if you're mostly planning on visiting the city.

The carpets need replacing. There were nicks, scratches, tears, spots, etc. on the curtains, lampshades, chair, furniture, etc. The place needs an overhaul. There are NO stairways for you to use. I entered one after seeing the stairs and could not get back out. My room key would NOT let me back into the hallway. Thank goodness I had my mobile phone and could call my wife to let me out. Otherwise I would have been stuck for quite a long time. Only after getting out did I see the small ‘no entry’ sticker and small wall plaque with ‘Emergency Exit Only’. On another floor they had a large sign, but unfortunately not on my floor.

There were enough beds for the four of us. The room was large enough.

The rooms were so large that having two rooms for a family of 5 with a baby included seemed unnecessary. We could have easily fit in one of the rooms and saved a LOT of money.

It was centrally located and super easy to explore.

Location is not that great. However, buses do run frequently. Bed was quite hard and uncomfortable.

The curtain, wasn't enough big, neither enough dark, so it wasn't comfortable to sleep in the morning. It was dirty under the sofa.

The breakfast was amazing. Very delicious, and diversified. The restaurant was comfortable and clean with lot of space. Next to a hotel, there is a big park, it was good for us, because we were there with our dogs. Everybody were kinde, and polite, and also very friendly. The room was quite big. There were enough parking place, and easy to go in and out.

We were not given a room till 16:30 and had to wait for it, although check in time is 14:00 I believe (anyways earlier then 16:30) which is I don’t think quite fair.

I can't think of any. This is my fourth time staying here.

Although the hotel is located in the suburbs, you can reach the city centre in 8-10 minutes by renting a bicycle at the hotel. The area around the hotel is a building site. New university campus buildings, offices and other buildings are rising out of the ground. In a few years it could be a new "city centre". The hotel is well soundproofed and quiet, despite the building environment and the motorway running right next to it.

Showers are installed in a way that was practically impossible not to spray water outside the tub area - makes a wet bathroom. There is no coffee maker in the room (there is a kettle and instant coffee)

We knew how far away from the centre this hotel is but did not realise that it was not within walking distance and how inaccessible it was by bus, especially at weekends. Our bed could have done with a mattress topper; it was quite hard. Also considering how big the room was it would have benefited from having one or two armchairs next to the small solitary coffee table by the window.

We enjoyed our breakfasts there, the choice of food was really superb to suit any taste. Our room was quite big and spacious with a good view. All the staff were always very helpful and friendly.
