The best hotel, next to a real pyramid, in playacar. Perfect for our honeymoon. Ismael, Sarai, America and Carlos were amazing, I felt like I was a king. The swimming pool was top, surrounded by birds and capybaras. The rooms are MASSIVE.

More direct access to lobby or rooms, it was raining and we got all wet even our luggage. Also have umbrellas for the guests.

There was an issue with the toilet that was promptly solved by moving me to another room. Service was great.

This was the best hotel I have been during my stay in the Cancun-Tulum area. The breakfast was wonderful, with lots of options, very comfortable sitting area, so I could have my breakfast while joining a work meeting (internet worked perfectly). The hotel was not crowdy, so I could enjoy pretty much the swimming pool by myself plus one other guest. The location was also very nice, having a car. The Playacar beach was beautiful and there is an Argentinian restaurant close by where I have amazing empanadas. I very much recommend this hotel.

THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED WHEN WE ARRIVED BUT THE GOOD THING WE HAD RENTED A CAR AND WERE ABLE TO GO OUT FOR DINNER. WE COULDN'T FIND THE HOTEL AT FIRST BECAUSE IT'S TOWARDS THE END OF THE VILLAS AND WE DIDN'T SEE THE SIGN OF THE HOTEL.

I LOVED OUR ROOM IT HAD A VERY COMFORTABLE BED, GREAT SHOWER AND A/C. THE STRUCTURE OF THE HOTEL WITH THE PILARS, HUGE PALAPA OVER LOBBY AND STAINED GLASS WINDOWS WITH LARGE SHELL DECORATION OVER HEADBOARD AND MIRROR IN BATHROOM. THE PEACE AND NATURE SURROUNDING THE HOTEL AND BEING ABLE TO HEAR THE BIRDS SINGING IN THE MORNING WHILE ENJOYING MY BREAKFAST.

Booked it because it had a good score on this site and was reasonable priced, but it’s really a bad choice. It’s located in a secure area with restricted access. Each time you want to get anywhere you must wait for a long line of a veeeery slow screening process by people who speak no English at all. And even after passing the security gate the 3rd time in a day, they still cannot remember you. Unfortunately, you’ll have to go out for everything, because the hotel is in the middle of renovation; almost nobody is staying here; the services are all suspended; can’t even buy a bottle of water nearby; no place to eat dinner nearby. It almost feels like the beginning of a horror movie. The hotel is also in the middle of nowhere in the center of this secure area; surrounded by a golf field and getting anywhere is a 30minutes walk around this field. On other subjects: it’s the first hotel I ever stayed in which the shower glass had strains of not being properly cleaned for a long time. I don’t know what’s the “hotel star rating” system in mexico, but in europe it would barely qualify for a 2 star hotel: there was no hair dryer; no laundry service. It definitely doesn’t approach a 5 star rating. Also, the shower was a perfect representation of nanotechnologies in our modern life: the transition from ice cold water to burning hot is exactly a one nanometer turn of the handle away. The room smelled unpleasantly.

Air con was leaking a lot in the bedroom. The atmosphere was a bit strange, a bit like a ghost town. Lots of things being repaired so not usable or being noisy. They have everything to have a bar at the pool but they don't open it for some reason and they don't sell anything either so we had to walk to town to buy drinks. We had to cross the golf to go to the beach which is not authorized otherwise it's 40mn walk.

The pool was being cleaned in the morning. The breakfast was good. The beds were comfy and the room huge. Nice terrasse as well. Good view on the golf from breakfast.
