Staff were super friendly and I enjoyed cups of tea in the terrace with them. Helped recommend me to see and do the best things in town and for transport options onwards too. Room was super clean and comfortable and very close walk to main street. Highly recommend!

As soon as we arrived, Aruna the host greeted us with tea and biscuits and made us feel very welcomed. The property is located right in the center of Ella, but has the quietness of a side-street. The room was very clean and comfortable, the garden is just beautiful.

The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfy. The owners are such a lovely people and the tea they give you on arrival is super delicious. The location is perfect, right at the beginning of the main road and close enough to walk to Ninearch Bridge and Little Adams Peak. But it is up above the road, so not too noisy. I loved staying here and highly recommend this place!!

Cannot recommend this stay enough! The host was so welcoming, with a map of Ella and full of ideas of things to do. We were welcomed with wonderful cups of tea in the garden every time we passed. The room itself was spotless, with a lovely hot shower and very comfortable bed. Location-wise you can’t get better! It is at the end of the Main Street up a short hill that keeps it central and walkable to all restaurants and bars while also being away from the noise. Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka! If you are coming to Ella, don’t miss this great spot (the very cute dog also helps!). Thank you to our wonderful hosts!!!

The owner was very helpful often going out of his way to get information for us. The accommodation is very close to the restaurants in Ella but up a short steep hill. It is lovely to relax in the garden seats after a busy day.

Aruna was the best host! The accommodation was clean, tidy and more than enough! Having the balcony to sit on was really good. Aruna offers a nice cup of tea at any time, recommends the best spots in the area, told us about the area when he moved there in the late 80’s and is generally one of the kindest people we have met!

There was nothing to dislike

The owner was exceptional, he was very welcoming and friendly, and very helpful from the beginning to the end. The room was ideal and met ail my requirements. The location was ideal, just a few minutes walk to the town and the train station is about 10 minutes away, at most. I would highly recommend for a stay in Ella.

59B Rest Inn had a superb location just off Ella main road, but very peaceful. It is a bit of a climb, 30m up a steep hill. Host is fantastic, very friendly, always a cup of tea on offer. It only has 2 rooms so it's never going to be busy.

We had the most wonderful stay at 59B Rest Inn Ella! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel like part of the family, with their warm welcome and helpfulness. The location couldn't have been better, just a minute's walk from the city center, yet it felt like our own peaceful oasis, especially with the beautiful garden view. Speaking of the room, it was impeccably clean and offered fantastic value for money. We can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming stay in Ella!

It was a nicely maintained Homestay with a great host Mr. Aruna.. it’s very close to the Ella town Center. while the access to this property is abit steep and may be difficult for old people, once you are in the property you forget everything…we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to stay again in the future

You should know that you must go on the very steep climb for around 50meters. It wasn't a problem for us though

We liked being slightly out of the main street as it gave us privacy and peace. We enjoyed dining Al fresco. Our host was very welcoming and helpful, also knowledgeable on local places of interest. Asked us what time we wanted breakfast and arranged transport to the station.
