It was on the pricier side, but worth experiencing if you can.

Beautiful traditional room. The beds were comfortable. Lots of space with lounge chairs to relax and doors to shut out the light. Really great breakfast included in the price, plus amenities and the onsen. It was a good location not far from the station to visit the other post towns.

It would have been better if it was nearer to the train station. The breakfast menu could also do with some variation.

The staff were impeccable. The onsen was very clean and comfortable. Room was spacious. Dinner was always sumptuous.

We loved the onsen - especially after a long day walking. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional value and very tasty. Kiso is great there is a lot to see around here and I would recommend a whole day in the area.

The location is quite far from the jr station and the name of hotel was not easy to locate. It took us a quite to figure out we were standing right in front of our hotel

Breakfast was ok. I like the pancake and miso soup there. Not much of buffet but it’s quite good. There were a vietnamese receptionist that helps us alot from showing us the specialty food of kiso and check bus timetable. She was very nice

The location was a taxi ride from the station. A shuttle bus would have given an extra star. It was walking distance, with luggage, 30 years ago but not anymore.

The room and view were great. The onsen bath very nice. Food was basic but good.

The futon was quite thin. The pillow also was not very fluffy, though the ones in the lobby, which you are allowed to take, did look better. Wifi connection to my laptop was very slow.

The dinner was exceptional (I had the local style fried chicken) and was very filling. Breakfast had a wide array of Japanese side dishes, and also Western some staples. It was likewise delicious and filling, but also healthy. The room was well equipped (heater, aircon, powerpoints). The onsen felt good and was well equipped. Alcohol vending machine and free self service non-alcoholic drinks.

It was a little bit away from Kiso-Fukushima station but can be reaching by taxi and public bus also 15 mins walk from the station. Breakfast is so nice and tasty and many kinds of dishes there! Staff is very friendly, room was very clean! I really liked the big public bath on the ground floor. Thank you for the nice stay!!

Minor issue but it would be nice to be able to stream services on the TV as only Japanese channels are available.

Fantastic room. Much bigger than I expected. Comfortable beds, a bath and a cosy seating area. Onsen facility was really nice. After check in there is an area where you can choose your own Hakata and varying styles of pillows that suit how you prefer to sleep, something I’ve not seen a hotel offer before.

we waited about 1 hour for dinner to served even though we registered before. The restaurant was not that busy but staffs seem to simply ignore us. The room is quite old and there is large stains on the carpet.
