No air-conditioning. Only window that not really easy to be opened. Very compact room. I got 3x bigger hotel and cheaper than this in previous day. Laundry coin.

Helpful staff. Real person receptionist. Gourmet buffet menu breakfast with multi optional time table. Heating system is adjustable. Firm beds.

There’s central AC, so the rooms are super stuffy. When we stayed in October, the heat was on. So it was cold outside, but super hot in your room. We opened the window to be comfortable.

The onsen is so nice! WiFi worked well. Location was pretty good.

A bit expensive, but the breakfast alone makes it worth it (if you like seafood for breakfast).

It was clearly written in the room description (2 beds/twin room with bath) that a desk would be provided in addition to the (very small) dining table, but no desk was in place. The hotel should clearly spell this out when describing the different rooms and items provided, and booking.com should follow this up. Otherwise, it is false advertising. We stayed 4 nights, and cleaning was done on the third day, but no natural drinking water was provided that day. It seems as though management/housekeeping practices were haphazard.

The room was clean and the bathroom was well ventilated. Clean supply of towels was good. The bed was comfortable and we could have two pillows. The hotel was not too near the station but it was well within walking distance (about 15 mins).

The room had a pretty view of the ocean; the amount and variety of food at breakfast was exceptional. Many people were at the hotel for the spa facilities. We rented a taxi for two hours to take us up the mountain to view Hakodate at night. In the morning we took a taxi to the Tower overlooking the pentagonal fort of Goryokaku. Very educational.

-TV located in weird corner of the room -There is a bit of a cigarette smell left in the shower room, and the air filter machine can't get rid of it all. -Not enough parking spots, we had to go to the 3rd parking lot located at the next block which cost the same as the closer ones

-Basically an apartment room, huge space -Kitchenette is well equipped with kitchenware, electric hob, big fridge -Combo oven also provided though difficult to operate in other mode than microwave as it's only in Japanese -Washing machine available in the shower room is a huge plus which is weird that they don't advertise more

We tried to go to the spa at two different times, but it was full. As we only spent one night, we couldn’t experience it.

Room was big with a wrap-around balcony. It was tatami-floored. Had a small but adequate kitchenette. Bathtub was deep. Toiletries and coffee/tea were also good.

The onsen is AMAZING! Also the room was huge and very modern and good-looking, great value for the money. The hotel has all kinds of facilities inside, including massage rooms and even it’s own konbini (7-Eleven)!
