The breakfast could be a little more varied. It was the same for the 3 nights we were there. But overall it wasn't bad.

The hotel ambience was very nice. As soon as one enters the foyer one can feel relaxed. It was raining a lot when we were there so it was always a nice feeling to walk on the beautiful covered walkway into the hotel and it's lobby area. We also had a nice, big enough room with a side view of the canal/river. So we were happy!

It would be good if the pool could be used by hotel guests at no cost.

On-site onsen was fantastic. Very handy having coffee shop downstairs and family mart next door. We had 2 rooms. The family room with 3 beds was a good size.

It could have been cleaner. I found hairs on the bed and bathroom and there was dust in several places.

The room was great, quite spacious compared to others in Japan. More than one train stop only 15 mins or less walking. Staff was very friendly

Single use plastic everywhere (but that's common to all hotels in Japan)

The staff were very nice and super helpful (it was our 1st day in Japan so they helped us a lot to get around town). The room was big enough, very clean and comfortable. It was in a quiet area not too far from subway lines. The staff also kept our luggage until the room was ready (and even did bring them to the room, thank you) and after we checked out for the day. Superb!

We had to book two separate rooms as a family of four (two children aged 5 &9) which was slightly annoying but they were next to each other so it didn't really make a massive difference, except that the rooms were quite small so having very large suitcases made it a bit cramped inside the rooms. However this really wasn't an issue and if we returned we would still book here again as the hotel was clean, bed comfy and the staff were lovely.

We loved the location of this, right by a river which was nice to sit by in the evening. Also loads of great food places, not very touristy so felt like we were getting a real japanese experience staying here. I don't recall seeing any other western guests. About a 10 minute walk to Osaka Castle which was wonderful to do in the middle of the night whilst jetlagged with the kids, seeing it completely empty amazing. Also easy transport routes very close to USJ and Nara. We had a lovely swim in the pool, although will add its lane swimming so not a 'fun pool' for little kids but the kids still enjoyed it and very much enjoyed the jacuzzi. We loved staying here and were really sad to leave.

The bathroom was a little outdated.

The hotel had a big and relaxing public bath and spa area. Which was a real highlight after a long day. The staff and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. We had a nice and comfortable room. There is a coffee shop in the lobby and the hotel has a restaurant and there is a Conbini right in front of the hotel.

The baths, there were so many to chose from and all enjoyable. Especially the sauna. 30 min walk from Osaka castle and dotonbori.

Best honeymoon experience!! Thank you so much The room was very clean and big, with a comfortable bed. The hotel is new, with superb elevators and tasty breakfast. The staff is so kind, caring and warm! They helped us a lot with everything! The property itself is beautiful, there is a cafe downstairs and a great supermarket for everything you can think of. Very close to public transportation and metro, easy to navigate. The neighborhood itself is clean, modern and very safe. Love it love it love it! Best breakfast :) the gym is very very good, professional equipment and pool with jacuzzi, fun place to be at!! Thank you so much!!

The receptionist forgot to tell me that they locked up the hotel at 1am and this as a "city" hotel and on a weekend. There is no information about this in the information document you receive at check-in. I stayed out until 2am and had really stressful moments when the doors were closed. My room card was a bit bended and it could not get read. They could use a better card material. So, I walked twice to both hotel entrances for around 15 minutes in the middle of the night until the system was finally reading my room card. There is a bell button too, but only saw later.

The Onsen/hot bath and the free of charge massage chairs on the top floor are fabulous and a nice add to your stay.

The hotel is in the middle of an administrative area, with many offices but few turistic or nightlife attractions. Not a big issue because you can go everywhere with the metro.

Second Time at City Plaza. The things I like best are the spacious (probably the biggest I had in Japan to date) twin rooms with view at more than reasonable price and the roof SPA with view on the city. Good breakfast with a mix of traditional and western dishes.

It’s not so close to the station about 400-500 meters ways. Not many restaurants around there not the one that accept foreigners at least.

Truly is a full service hotel, room is of normal size with is much bigger than most in Osaka and Tokyo. The staff brought our luggages to the room which is super nice. Breakfast is decent and with lots of variety. Onsen is really good and they have massage chairs as well.

The dining options at night early in the week were limited due to low patonage however the up market restaurant was worth the cost.

Breakfast was excellent! We made appointments for the spa facility and it was good/easy. The Tulleys Coffee in the lobby was fantastic and we appreciated it being there. The customer service reps at the front desk were extremely helpful and amazing. They made our stay at the Plaza a great one!

Nothing to criticise about the hotel. The area was more office blocks, but you could get a metro easily enough to get you around the city.

Comfortable hotel, good facilities, nice rooftop onset, close to Osaka Metro line.

Overall, we had a great experience; the staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage as we got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait for check in. So this was a big plus. The room was wonderful and clean. Would definitely return.
