In our room, one of the toilet paper rolls blocked the toilet, so one would need to sit sideways to use the toilet. Either remove the second toilet paper holder or move them forward. There was a communal toilet at the end of the hall that we used instead.

You have to pay for everything extra and sadly no early check-in is possible. The breakfast consists of cereals and croissants. Also it was bit noisy (but my partner says otherwise). Reading the terms and conditions during checkin was a bit of a pain (it's really long :D).

The room was one of the bigger ones so we enjoyed the extra space. The bathroom is small, but really functional with all the anemities.

Nice Hostel! We had a double room with private bathroom and really enjoyed our stay. The hostel was quiet and we slept pretty good in the bed! The castle is close and it’s 5 min by foot to the next metro station. We would definitely come back!

Bit of a walk to the nearest train line. Staff were a bit negligent with bags. They said just leave it at the entrance if u want us to hold it, I went to collect it and the staff weren’t even paying attention? I could have been anyone and just stolen some bags.

Me and my partner stayed in the double bedroom, with shared bathroom. We really liked the room. It was larger than expected, and had a decent view. The hostel was walking distance to train stations and cafes, they also provided recommendations for dining in the area. Overall very happy!

They had advertised that they had an iron we could use for free, but they did not have it. My partner also wanted to use their prayer room which was also not available. Also the room can be noisy from the traffic but we weren't really bothered by it.

The staff stayed until midnight to check us in, and we were very grateful for them. The room was comfortable and clean with a modern finish, as well as the showers and toilets too. We were fairly close to restaurants, convenience stores and multiple metro stations. Overall a great stay.

spacious private room, the place was clean and quiet. There’s space to work in the first place if you’re a digital nomad or similar. The top floor has a kitchen with a fridge and the supplies you need. Also located near Osaka castle so you can just walk it.

Great stylish hotel. We took the private room with private bathroom, and it was amazing with an authentic Japanese touch with the woody interior and sleeping in the floor where they use regular mattress not Futon which made it more comfortable. The location a bit far for walking, but we walked all the time because it is just nice and we can.

The only weak spot was the cleanliness especially on the women's bathroom floor, I saw the same spots during our three days there.

We booked two nights at &And Hostel Hommachi East for the first time in Osaka. The location is actually very convenient, our room was spacious enough for the two of us. Showers are small but enough to allocate you. The air-conditioning is great, the views are a bit strange but exotic. The elevator is super fast. Common area, coffee for free, lots of restaurants close by, a great coffee place just around the corner. The host was super lovely and a handful. Cheers

Regarding my stay my key for my room unfortunately wasn't working well which had led me to often ask the staff to open my room for entering. Since the staff wouldn't be around after 11pm I wasn't able to leave the hostel afterwards, caused by the fact that I might wouldn't have been able to get in my room on my own then. After already letting the staff know they still weren't able to solve the problem or giving me another room which made my stay very unconvinient. Additionally the hostel only seemed clean on the surface. The tables and chairs in the public area were kinda dirty and sticky. So a lot of dirt stayed in the edges of the floor or even between the cushions at the sofas. Since most of that were dried and hard rests of dishes I would assume that those surfaces or furnitures didn't get cleaned for a long time.

I stayed in the mixed shared room for two nights. The location of the hostel is great, close to different metro stations, as well as close to the family mart, 7eleven, lawson and grocery store. (around 2-3 minutes by walking). The staff is very friendly and most of them are able to talk in English well. The shared room I stayed in has a mini fridge and a sink. The socket next to my bed had an USB input, so I didn't need an adapter. The hostel provides lines, toothbrush with toothpaste, showergel, conditioner, body wash and toilet paper for free. The kitchen and public area in the 10th floor Providers free tea and coffee, which are available any time while being checked in. Slippers, towels and adapter aren't free and have to be bought at the reception if needed.

I stayed in the economy double without a bathroom. The room was just big enough for two people and neat luggage. The best part was that you can control the temperature in the room and you have your own sink in the room.

The room's floor was a little dirty.

Very quiet location, room was small but with everything we needed. Good location, especially if you are visiting Osaka Castle. More like a hotel, don't have a hostel vibe. Perfect if you are not travelling alone. We were concerned about the shared bathroom, but it was very clean and always available.
