Shower was cold...We managed, since it was a warmish day and we only stayed one night, but it would have been a bit unpleasant in another circumstances.

Beautiful position among the hills. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly and enthusiastic staff, comfy bed, amazing meal and great breakfast. We will be back.

The location, farm feeling, hospitality of the owners, the food was exceptional. The room was very clean and comfortable and all what we need was in there and more! We could walk in the forest and you can hire bikes also. We enjoyed our stay very much!

There is nothing we did not like about this stay. We definitely will return.

Roberto and his wife were so very gracious to us as we came in late and they insured we were able to get something to eat, provided a bottle of wonderful wine, and their olive oil for our meal. We met their two children. What a wonderful place and family. What a great location next to Sasso Marconi and in the beautiful country. 20 minutes by train into the center of Bologna.

This is such a wonderful place to stay. The setting is beautiful and so much love and care has gone into the accommodation and especially the food. Carlotta & Roberto were amazing and couldn’t have done anything more to make our stay better. It was fabulous and can’t recommend it highly enough.

Roberto was an excellent host and went above and beyond, amazing english and passion for his slice of paradise. The grounds were very well kept and provided lots of things for my children to do after our day on the Via Degli Dei. The kitchen was closed the night we were there but we could get delivery food and breakfast was great the next morning.

Slightly off the Via Degli Dei but worth the detour

We had such a lovely stay. We walked to the property (Via Degli Dei). It's slightly off the track but worth the detour. The location is stunning, the rooms large and comfortable and the food at the restaurant fantastic. The local honey, cheeses and olive oil were so delicious. I would really recommend staying here, the staff helped us with transport back to the route the next day.

This probably won't affect 99% of people staying, but for walkers on the Via Degli Dei, this accommodation is quite a walk from the trail.

This is a lovely Agriturismo in Sasso Marconi, only 20 or so kilometres outside Bologna, but so, so tranquil! My room was beautifully decorated, and the food in the restaurant was excellent, especially breakfast the next morning. A beautiful place to stay!

Nothing, all lovely.

Beautiful building and grounds. We loved the vintage interior of the room and bathroom. The room itself was large with an adjoining hallway. The bed was firm and comfortable and the antique radiators were constantly on at a medium temperature so it was really cosy. Little touches like the blanket, teacups, tea and kettle were appreciated. The towels were thick and white. The shower had great pressure and water temperature was constant and hot. We loved the restaurant and fireplace where we could sit with our wine and play cards before dinner. The food was delicious, home made and using local or home produced ingredients. We very much appreciated the thoughtful and kind service from the manager and especially the young waiter who a few times returned to make additional suggestions to make us comfortable, or for me as I am a vegan. Very considerate people. The manager offering to give a hand with the luggage was an additional kindness we appreciated. The breakfast was ample and delicious. Lovely stay, we were sorry it was only for one night, we thought about extending just because we were so relaxed there. Plus it’s very quiet despite being so close to the road.
