You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe building was older and there was quite a bit of noise from adjacent rooms late into the evening/ overnight which meant that it was not always easy to get to sleep. I have stayed here before and did not have this problem. They did offer for me to move rooms and were helpful.
The hotel room was nice, spacious with a 4-poster bed with a great view of the deer-park. There was ample parking and the overall location was nice with a good bar and restaurant.

Staff were pleasant, polite and able to answer our queries. Breakfast was good and was hot but we felt that a little more choice would have been nice.

United KingdomIn the bathroom there was nowhere to put your toiletries, toothbrushes and paste other than on the washbasin itself - no shelf or rack - hence they would frequently get knocked over by the tap being moved from side to side to get hot or cold water. Likewise in the shower there was no rack for shampoo, conditioner, sponge etc. so you had to put them on the floor. There was also a rough hole in the wall above the basin presumably where there had once been a strip light, now replaced by an illuminated mirror. In the bedroom the windows opened but had a short cable attached preventing them from opening very far and secured by a lock. There was no key to release them however or open the window wider. On Sunday morning the Fire Alarm went off at 8 a.m. and sounded for a few minutes before it was turned off. Even though we were on the ground floor we would have not been able to escape a fire through the window. When we pointed this out at reception the desk clerk suggested we should smash the double glazed window in a real emergency. With what, and how to climb through shards of glass?!
The room was quite spacious and at our request we were allocated a room on the ground floor with walk-in shower. There were 2 bays in the car park near the entrance for disabled badge holders and we were always able to park there. Large comfortable bed. Pleasant view of the grounds to the rear . A safe, hair dryer and ample room for clothes storage. Meals were served in another building of the Charlecote Pheasant Hotel which is the other side of the carpark. Waiting staff were efficient and in many cases very friendly. We had two evening meals there which were quite good as was the self service breakfast.

United KingdomReception - One lady was quite rude and unhelpful to one of our group. The younger members of staff were absolutely fine. After all they are the first face people see on arrival. I will leave it at that.
Nice location and rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was good. Additional member of staff might have helped as staff through no fault of their own, were struggling a bit to keep up with demand.
