bar staff not helpful or good at there job description, we were not the only people to complain, such a shame as generally the hotel is good, but could be better if there was musical entertainment to encourage guests to enjoy the stay.

room was not cleaned or checked during our stay ,we found out to late that we have to request this to happen!!!!

The dinner menu was awful and no choice I could only have the cooked bowl of Chips so didn’t eat there the second night . And so very expensive wine was £10 for a glass quite ridiculous

The room was upgraded which was very kind of the staff . It was dog friendly

We have stayed before, and again had a free upgrade. I was surprised that this time the superior room had only a standard size double bed. This wasn’t a problem, but we do like a bit more space. The particular room (19) had a constant low level hum, which I think came from the neighbouring boiler room. It wasn’t awful, but did slightly mar the peace and quiet. There was a special coffee machine, but no pods provided. I prefer not to use them anyway, because of the waste they create, but it seems odd to provide a machine and nothing to put in it. I’d suggest getting rid of the machines and providing more coffee sachets and milk, as the amount given was a little sparse!

Convenient location, lovely friendly staff. Spacious and well maintained. A comfortable room with a good breakfast. Nice to have a separate sofa, so we didn’t have to sit on the bed.

    Nothing we didn't like!

This is our second stay at the Charlecote Pheasant Hotel and we now ask for the same room as we have 2 dogs and this room is on the ground floor, at the end of a corridor and close to the gardens and field for dog walking. The room is quite large and can accommodate their dog beds and water bowl very easily.

Room was fabulous -fridge -large tv - while we were there only interacted with reception staff - they were great - very informative of the local area - this visit definitely erased the memory of our last visit - noisy neighbours above -( no fault of the hotel )

The room that we stayed in was clean, and the bed was comfortable, but the upkeep of the room regarding decor and repairs was a bit disappointing. It didn't impact our stay, but I feel it's such a shame to see. Just needs a little tlc here and there.

The location of the hotel was lovely and very convenient for what we wanted to do and where we wanted to visit during our stay. The staff were very helpful. There was a slight mix-up with our booking regarding the price which was dealt with efficiently and promptly.

Slightly misleading as the complex is huge, larger than we had expected, it's really a conference centre, so take a brolly with you as getting from room to breakfast/dinner/carpark can be a wet business if it's raining. Lumpy rice with curry at dinner.

Complimentry upgrade from Booking.com meant we were in one of the old buildings, which we preferred.

The beds in the family room, in particular the double badly need replacing, can feel the springs in them. TV could do with being updated as well.

Good location, near Warwick Castle and Stratford Upon Avon. Breakfast was good quality as well and the food replaced and topped up.

On arrival, just after 9pm the receptionist had left, cso the bar staff were completing this along with running the bar, but no information stating this was at reception. There were two signs saying call two different numbers, both of which didn't gain a response. A note at reception directing you to the bar would have saved 30 mins of trying to book in.

Staff excellent thanks registered us in. Nice clean place, that had good facilities.

the carpet in the room had a lot of marks and grubby the sofas in the room were hard and uncomfortable the heating didnt come on at all, we did tell reception and they said they would check it ( we stayed December), nothing changed, we had to use the little portable heater instead (obv trying to save costs) there was no staff at breakfast the 2nd morning so things started to run out and there was no one about to top up/and clear tables,

we had a large room with access to the garden which was great with having dogs. The breakfast was tasty and a good choice

Lack of staff long wait to get receptionist, not enough staff didn't know what they were doing no communication had issues with a suprise that was meant to be in room when we arrived nothing in room told them it was a present from our grandchildren and wasn't alcohol yet were told they had put a bottle of prosseco in room kept asking what my suprise was I explained I didn't know it was a suprise had to ring my daughter to get her to ring hotel was finally sorted I had also booked an extra day went down to talk to receptionist no one was at front of house for nearly 20 minutes I explained I'd booked extra night and wanted to stay in same room he told me it was sorted then on the last night we were relaxing in room when a receptionist walked into our room quickly apologised and on checking out the receptionist was confused when I said what room we were in she told me we should have been in a different room even though I had it confirmed we were staying in same room we were in since arriving lots of glasses and bottles left near door/entrance into rooms was there for the 3 days we were there

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Nice big room, plenty of parking, clean and comfortable. Liked the quiet countryside location which was still with in easy reach of shops, pubs etc. The room was warm but the windows opened so we could get fresh air. Very dog friendly with dog bowls, towels etc available . Good value for the price we paid.

Huge bedroom gave plenty of space for dog and myself. We weren't disturbed by noise from any other room - indeed it was a surprise when other guests appeared in the morning. It was genuinely dog friendly: places to walk in the hotel grounds and a field next to the carpark; designated areas in the bar (and apparently restaurant) for dogs to stay with owners for meals. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order - I particularly appreciated the thoughtful member of waiting staff who, spotting that I was on my own with a strong dog, brought me items from the self-serve buffet as well as the cooked breakfast; she also remembered that I was vegetarian. It was lovely that some friends could join me for a walk and several hours in the bar with their dog on one of the mornings. Charlecote Park is opposite and Stratford a short drive away.
