Excellent location, nice staff, good breakfast and comfy beds. Very good value for money.

Although the room was clean it wasn't to a very good standard. There was dust on most surfaces and the vanity mirror wasn't clean at all. The shower was mouldy on the shower head and also around the sealant on the tray. Although comfy one side of the bed was higher than the other which ment a funny sleeping position but didn't effect me too much. The outer windows where very dirty. It didn't effect my stay but it would have been nice to have a clear view On check in and check out the customer service was lack luster. There was no real introduction to the hotel and on leaving no thank you or how was your stay. Although the hotel is very old and with more attention to detail it could be so much better.

I paid for two twin rooms and was given two family rooms. While the upgrade is very appreciated, it would have been nice to be offered one room rather than 2 as one room was big enough for all of us and would have cost less (I only booked 2 twin rooms as that is all that showed available online).

Booked 2 room's one looked out onto a brick wall where fire escape was & staff who was out the back very noisy! Other room had 3 top window's & below a huge area of a half circle board which was obviously not for climbing on as was to high, so really no outlook from that room either! So all in all not happy with either room we were given. Although they where clean & well equiped.

Bathroom could have done with a bit of a lift. View from window was a back alley. Had to park quite away from hotel.

The main entrance, foyer and stairway was very nice and ornate. Bars were quite nice. Location was pretty central for most things.

Room was a bit soulless. Functional rather than comfortable. It also smelt of cigarette smoke, the previous occupant had obviously been smoking in the chair by the window.

Location excellent. Didn't eat in the hotel, so can't comment on food. The staff I had contact with, mostly reception, were all very polite and professional. Bed was comfortable.

We waited an hour for bar snacks but the staff apologised and offered us drinks on the house. We loved seeing the nesting seagulls but they were very noisy although this was nobody's fault and we were happy to live with it and we did enjoy watching them.

Location was fantastic and the check in process was really easy. The room was clean and comfortable, just a little dated.

Bed was hard, but we are use to sleeping on a memory foam mattress at home. Could have used larger plates for dinner serving in the restaurant.

Hotel and room was very clean, bed was hard for me and my wife. (use to sleeping on memory foam mattress) Restaurant was clean, the food was nice but could have done with bigger plates or actual dinner plates. Bar tender was very helpful and professional. Overall happy with the stay.

The sink in the bathroom was blocked and drained very slow (had a bad smell coming from it too) and there was some work being done at 8am where there was loud banging and drilling which woke us up very abruptly.

The location is great and room was clean and comfortable.good value for money
