Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United Kingdomout of four elevators, only one was functioning. This did not cause a major problem as there were not too many guests around. The view from the room was largely of a roof, but was high enough to provide a view of the surrounding area and the prevailing weather
Check-in was quick and simple, the bar and dining areas were well equipped and staffed, and for a one - night stay the room was well equipped, although the bathroom was a little small.

BarbadosExcellent central location, but for a frequent business and leisure traveller who stays in amazing hotel properties, the hotel and furnishings are old and dated, carpets need replacing and generally for the price point the rooms and facilities need upgrading. Bathrooms are small. In 2024 tubs in hotels are outdated and should be replaced with modern showers. This was my second stay at this property (having stayed there 6 years ago) and compared to other similar properties during the last 6 years that have upgraded and modernized the properties and facilities, I sincerely hope to see some modern touches and upgrades at Marriott London Marble Arch on my next visit.
Location was amazing. Quick 10 minute walk to Marble Arch and Oxford Street. Special thanks to Rishi at the Front Desk for assisting us to change our room. The layout and location of our new room with the two double beds made our short stay much more comfortable.
