Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

the property was very accessible and clean. The bedroom was spacious and were very comfortable and bathroom was clean. The breakfast selection was reasonably good Abd customer service was very good. Mohammed at Reception was very helpful and threw in a complimentary breakfast as the price fir 1 night stay without breakfast was steep.

RomaniaOnce you opened the room, the automated heating or AC system was broken and you could hear some weird and loud noises but luckily I was able to shut it down with the touch of a button. Also, the windows while you could close them, the button/close system seemed to be broken at my room. Still, I was able to push them with my hands and they were closed - not perfect but enough not to hear the noise outside or let the cold get in.
The staff was polite, the food was good, the breakfast was diversified, everyone from the staff was smiling at you. Gabriela was a lovely person, the same with everyone else actually. I mentioned Gabriela and a few ladies because each morning I had to leave and each time I asked for a coffee to-go they offered me the coffee for free. I insisted to pay but they refused the money. I know that theoretically I could've asked for a second coffee at the breakfast but it is these little things that matters. I've been eating at the hotel each morning and in the evening and the food was good. The beds were comfy. Yes, the rooms and everything else feels like they are ageing but overall I appreciated that it was clean and the staff was helpful. Each evening, when I returned in my room, the cleaning ladies were doing a good job. Some people said the rooms are not that big. Yes. not big but neither small either. So, if I would have to resume to three things I liked it was this: staff, food and being clean (the bed was comfy enough for me).

GreeceAfter we paid in full our booking at our check in, the following things happened. at our room the heating system was not working. i came down to the reception and explained the situation and they respond they are aware of the problem for the last 2 days the heating is not working due to a burst pipe!!! then I ask why I was not informed before I paid in full and found out later on ? no replies on that I suggested another room, since my family and I were out they had around 4 hours to find another room when I can back I ask them if they managed to swap rooms the reply was plain …. sorry we don’t have any other rooms. I asked for the manager the manager came out politely telling me the same things, finally she suggested to use a portable heater or if the ambient temperature of the room is ok we can still manage to spent our nights….. really????? At the end after not accepting that, they managed to find another room . the heating worked only for 1 night the other three nights we were using the portable heater. didn’t bother to tell the management anything I was really fed up !!!! the condition of the room was marginal patches of mound in the plaster ceiling mainly from humidity I guess One lighting spot on the bathroom ceiling was lose hanging from its cables. The bathroom and the bedroom I think need renovation Breakfast bacon was bad smelling as well, English sausage overcooked the inter things ok above average At the end the hotel is a poor example of Marriot Hospitality I think deserves to be 2 star or even better a Hostel.
