Mattress was uncomfortable, felt like I was going to fall out of bed, hanging to one side. I was glad I wasn't sharing as it's a tiny double.

    It was decent value

There was not enough staff, we were waiting a long time at the bar and reception. Maybe it was mentioned when booking, but we didn’t realise there was no lift so was a struggle lifting our luggage and pram up the stairs. Not all the pool facilities were working when we were there, no hot tub. The American Diner had a limited menu and would not recommend.

There were fun activities for the kids.

Bed was so uncomfortable and way past its best, covers had tears in them and poorly fitted for duvet more cover than duvet. Overall the room looked tired the bed was just shocking for how lovely downstairs was creaked all night. Lighting was rather poor felt there should have been a switch at door for full room was only a spotlight above entrance then had to put on small wall lamps and the table lamp for remainder of room Decoration very out of date looking, bathroom was also tired looking overall I was disappointed and glad we only paid a small fee

The reception area was extremely pleasant looking, the social areas looked great and sadly didn't get to make use of them.

The room was very dated and a bit shabby! The enamel in the bath was chipped, the bathroom door was badly warped and generally not a particularly pleasant space. It was also very cramped! Check-in was painfully slow! The pool changing area is very small (not adequately equipped) for the number of pool users. It was also disappointing to learn that kids can not use the slide when pool is at full capacity. Surely, during the school holidays in particular) limit the pool to allow kids access to the 1 small slide available. Perhaps offer adult only sessions throughout the day to give guests the option.

The bar area and restaurant were well presented, and the facilities for children (aside from the pool) were excellent!

I think if it just had a little more upkeep and attention to detail, it would be a lot better. e.g. some arcade machines were faulty, rooms could have been a little cleaner and staff were manning a couple of counters at a time.

The hotel was set-up with everything you could possibly need for a nice family night away. The pool are was very nice, as was the large reception area.

My room was next to the adventure playground so very noisy. I also had house keeping knocking on my door everyday to service which I didn't want. Doors slamming all night and every morning from 8am onwards. Not the peacefulness I was expecting.

The room was nice. The area was good also.

Didn’t like the room. Dinner could have been better.

We had dinner, bed and breakfast deal. Value for money was good, but dinner pretty basic. We were disappointed with room, we were celebrating our 60ths birthdays thought might get good room; but was very small, having stayed a few times we know there are better ones.

Bed and pillow were uncomfortable. Room was small, it had a window which looked onto an internal courtyard, so no view. Walls were thin so could hear what is happening next door. Social areas were very busy with children running around the bar/lounge area.

The buffet style service was good suited my needs. The food was generally better than I have had in other similar types of accommodation. Shower was really good, lots of hot water whenever needed.

4pm checkin ment the night was rushed so couldnt really enjoy facilities ie swiming before getting ready for dinner. Menu selection is very restrictive for someone who has diettry requirements 25 per person seems expensive when the only thing i could eat from menu was chips so we felt we had no choice but to eat from bar but that cost £45 we have been to this hotel a few times but the issue with food being so limited ruined our experience and possible look at other hotels in area with more flexible food options

Breakfast selection was great very enjoyable
