It was a bit hot at night and the pillow was a bit high for me.

Prepared to order breakfasts excellent and with plenty of choice. Friendly staff, lovely dining room with white linen table cloths and napkins. The room with a window seat over looked the cathedral and there were lovely walks in the grounds around it. Superb location for a hotel.

Helpful staff who provided electrical adapters and tips on local restaurants. Breakfast in refectory. Room very clean with modern appliances etc. right by the cathedral with view of same. Does not get any better than this !

The room was in the annex which was in a separate building from the main building, however - I had a lovely view of the cathedral so it doesn't bother me. To get to the room, you had to go outside across a small street, which isn't too brilliant when it rains! Also, the building had 3 flights of stairs and no lift, which isn't good if you suffer from knee injuries or are rehabilitating from post-op knee surgery. However, this was made clear on the booking and there was plenty of time to change room if needed.

The breakfast was amazing, I had eggs Benedict and the breakfast was served in a nice bright room. There was a small lounge/bar next to the breakfast room, so it was the perfect place to relax or, do a little bit of work on a laptop.

On the second day, I had a shower at approx 8:30pm and the water was lukewarm, even when turned up to 9. I booked a blue badge space online but was booked in on a waiting list space for Saturday + a definite, normal space for Sunday. However, the staff member on the gate sorted this out for us.

It was extremely quiet in the evenings, despite being in the centre of the city. Extremely clean + comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Entry to the Cathedral was included, this was a nice surprise.

The location is beyond belief wonderful. To have access to the cathedral grounds and wake up to that view is amazing. You can't put a price on it. The staff was friendly, clean comfortable room. Great breakfast!

Annex room had plenty of space and was well appointed and clean, but bathtub only _ difficult to use shower due to limited headroom. .

Had some trouble with the plumbing, but the staff got it worked out for us.

For me, the location is perfect -- across from the Cathedral and in the heart of old Canterbury. It was simple, comfortable, and welcoming. From here I could walk over during the day for the different services -- Perfect!

Nothing, everything was good. Other people might complain that they have to walk up 40 flights of stairs, but that didn’t matter to me.

The overall experience blew me away. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Everything was better than expected after arriving from Heathrow Airport after bumper-to-bumper traffic on the M25. At checkin the front desk made parking available on the Cathedral grounds and only a couple of minute walk to the inn. Breakfast was one of the best in many weeks in the UK and the location couldn't have been better with FREE access to the Cathedral and only steps away. Grounds were extremely well maintained and the room was excellent wth great internet service.

As above - i think the chef had run out of hollandaise sauce by the time my eggs royale were dished up! Disappointing. To be fair, I didn’t complain- if i had i’m sure it would have been rectified.

Location wonderful. Breakfast very good on the first morning, the second not so much! The Campanile Gardens were beautiful. All the garden landscaping excellent. Mostly friendly staff. Everywhere spotlessly clean.
