There are 2 buildings so we checked into one and our rooms are in the other. Also, we were there during a 3-day street festival and Saturday night there were performances until midnight outside our window.

It is located in the center of the Abbey district, within the pedestrian zone. The room was a nice size, with comfortable appointments.

Sound insulation between rooms is non existant. Room size perfect for one but small for two adults. furniture etc quite old. Needs refreshing. For that reason price was a little high.

Kindly make note of the reception hours. The rooms are also a little bit on the small side but overall comfortable. Please note no kettle, no coffee, no small refrigerator, and no safe in the standard double room.

Location, atmosphere, half timbered medieval building. We stayed in the dependance, which is far much nicer (furniture and level of renovation) than the main building of the hotel. The hotel offers check-in at 4:00pm and check-out at 12:00pm. Offers a discount in Einstein parking (25CHF) around this time.

Worker was replacing wallpaper in hallway at 7-8 am and the scraping sound which I thought was from a snow shoveler outside was too loud.

The room was spacious and with a pleasant view. Bed was comfortable. Location couldn’t be better as it is a stone’s throw from the Cathedral and heart of old St Gallen

Lounge was uncomfortable and only big enough for 4 people when the apartment sleeps up to 6 people. Pls buy a new lounge!

Apartment Dependence location was excellent, right in the heart of the old town around the corner from the Abbey. Very spacious apartment: 3 bedrooms plus an extra bed in a small sleeping area meant we all had our own space. Big modern bathroom, great water pressure, kitchen well equipped. Secure and safe with direct lift access using a key. Beds were very comfortable.

The cups etc available for tea and coffee were often not replenished during the day and the cups were so small!!

Even though a small hotel, everything was done beautifully and so clean. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much.

The room was very clean and in a great position in the old town. Everything was totally renovated even though the building was from the 16th century. One of my favourite hotel rooms ever!

The building with our rooms was a few minutes walk from the building where you check in. Breakfast is where you check in. Parking is a minute or two walk from the room as well.

I was pleasantly surprised from this property as I travelled for a conference. The property is ideally located between the Abbey and the Einstein conference centre , both just a minute walking. The hotel is in typical traditional style, with wooden roofs and well equipped kitchens at every level. Breakfast was good and staff was very helpful.

The only things that could have been better were the breakfast buffet and a lot of street noise at night for the room that faced the street. The breakfast buffet was pricey which would have been ok if it had better options. It was a true dissappointment.

Located just at the entrance of the altstadt or old city. perfect location. Can see everything just by walking. 10-12 mins walk from station though! Staff are quite friendly too !

Stairs to the lift were not a big deal but unexpected anyway. Also, the room is considerably small.
