Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceI dont think is a 4 stars hotel The breakfast was nice but the area is a ceramic shop! The parking is not secured The hotel is welcoming group of noisy young people that shouting in the corridor and clapping door till midnight.....seems no concierge there after 9pm. Very disappointed of this suggestion of 4 stars hotel by booking.com

United KingdomThis is on a busy industrial estate, 30 minutes walk from town with arterial roads and retail parks between. There's a huge children's play area on the ground floor - very popular and appropriately noisy!
Good on-site parking. Secure parking at extra cost (individual garage). Pleasant staff.

New ZealandParking can be quite competitive but as the day goes on becomes easier. There is a facility for children nearby and parents use the same parking.
This is an older hotel, built before a lot of the light industry now in the area. The light industry is nearby but had no impact on our stay. There is a supermarket within walking distance. The owner was present a lot of time while we were there and he was very helpful with information and when we needed a doctor. He also had a lot of work to do during some extremely bad weather and guests were hardly inconvenienced as a result. His English was good. Having a lift to the upper floors was appreciated, although there is no lift down to the breakfast room. The buffet breakfast was good and staff made certain nothing ran out. The toiletries were very nice.

RomaniaWhen i arrived at the hotel i was instructed to get the keypad used for the entry for an intercom which the code was incorrect and no one responded at the telephone, messages or email right after wasting me 3 hours from 21 until 00 trying to figure out a way into the hotel before i booked another one.

GermanyFirst of all i checked in late at night, they left me a card that is not activated, took them an hour to find out tgat the room they gave was occupied by someone else, then gave me another roim with a card that also doesnt work. My last day checkout was from 12-3 pm, at 1pm someone from the staff opened my door eith a master key and walked in me while i was laying in bed !!! Never apologized like it was okay to do so, he also did that another day but i was in the bathroom (door closed) so he walked out when didnt find me. No privacy at all and no aplogy was made.
Breakfast was good, the view was good as well, the room was big for its value

SwedenThe location of the hotel feels a bit like a shady neighborhood. But that was probably not the case. The plus, however, was strongly considered.
Very good breakfast and a wonderful caring staff. One of the nicest hotels we ever stayed in (the inside). We felt like home.
