Car parking is a lottery. Lucky I managed to get a space. It’s first come, first served.

The room was lovely, bit hot but that was ok. Breakfast was very nice and reception staff were incredibly helpful. Thank you. I will stay here again.

The hotel is a little dated in it's decor, mostly in the bathroom. Noise also travels whether inside the hotel itself or from the outside, just in case you're a light sleeper like me!

Great price for this hotel and can't fault the cleanliness. The shower was powerful and bed was very comfy with a good choice of pillows to choose from. It's a 30 minute walk or 10 min bus ride into Newcastle itself and the bus stop is a stones throw from the hotel. There is free parking on site as well which was handy for us.

Slightly dated in places, bathroom suite could do with modernising. Noisy door next to room but that is luck of the draw when you get the room.

Good location. Clean room with decent facilities as advertised.

Most of the staff were very helpful especially Rachel who was was excellent. I was distressed at not being able to park after an 8 hr journey and she arranged for the doorman to move his car so that I could park. I was incredibly grateful to her especially as the receptionist had been very dismissive and showed no compassion with my situation at all. The room was great, big with a very comfortable bed. Food was good.

Room furniture tired, drawers sticking, lamps missing fixings, curtains missing hooks, bathroom light wasn't working but team fixed that. Doors had bleeping alarms which went off on other doors continously which was annoying.

Good location, spacious room, comfortable bed and decent shower also modern reception area.

Attention to detail in room was poor, tiles in bathroom on floor all broken, marks all over the coving which would probably of just cleaned off with a cloth.

we were lucky, as the local students were on their summer holidays, which made the road quieter.

oldie worldy building, friendly staff, comfy bed, huge bathroom, car parking available. If bars and night life are your thing then it is ideally placed.
