Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe really liked the location and the room was very comfy with a little balcony. Staff were amazing giving us good tips about where to go for a meal. The only problem at all was that the room was in the 3rd floor and we both had heavy suitcase, but the guy from the reception was very friendly and helped us with them. I would definitely stay there again with my partner!

United KingdomIt's a small but very nicely run hotel. I'm not sure but I think that when I was there that I was the only guest which I think caused the managers some difficulties (it was out of season - end of February). The two guys who run it were super friendly and helpful and there was a really nice breakfast. It's also really well located near the main street with the tram. And there are lots of nice restaurants nearby, including a Lebanese one almost next door. It's probably not the sort of hotel to go to if you like hanging about in the hotel all day as there isn't really a lounge or foyer. It's just bedroom and a breakfast lounge, but great if you want somewhere overnight and a stopping off place for visiting the area.

United States of AmericaThe parking in front of the hotel is free at night but we had to park a bit away on Paul Bert avenue to have free parking during the day.
The owners were very gracious. We selected a room at the top of the building, had a little balcony giving onto quiet back side of the building. Not fancy but very pleasant and convenient for our purpose.

United KingdomI should have tried the Lebanese food in the restaurant next door (as recommended by the staff) many more times.
It was a neat room that was close to the train station. The walks each day were just picturesque. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd recommend

United KingdomJust the quadruple room was a little tight, but absolutely fine for one night.
The location of the hotel was perfect. We managed to park right outside on the road, no charge as we left before 9am. The hotel owner was really lovely and served up a fab breakfast. We stayed in the quadruple. It was made up beautifully and very clean. It was a tight space for 4, but it was fine, we only stayed one night.

NetherlandsNothing really
We stayed in the economy room for 1 night while passing through. The owner was extremely friendly, the room was super clean and really well located. For us it was the perfect stop-over on our way to Spain. If you're staying for more days I'd suggest one of the bigger rooms. P.s. try the Libanese food next door. You won't regret it.

AustraliaThe room I had was a bit cramped because it had such a large bed but really I have no complaints. All was good.
Ramour the owner is fantastic. He was helpful with all requests. The bed was so comfortable. Shower was great with lots of hot water for shaving. I didn't have breakfast but it really looked good. There are so many breakfast cafes in easy walking distance. Outside the hotel are 3 Restaurants and the French Lunch Bistro was excellent. Easy 5-10 min walk to the old town and historic areas.

United States of AmericaWe chose room #2 which is quite small. If you are larger than average size it might be hard to move around.
Location. Easy walking distance to everything necessary for the brief stay enroute to Loire. Easy parking out front on the street. No charge for parking in the evening 18:00-09;00. Friendly service. Nicely renovated bathroom in room #2. Clean room.

AustraliaThere was nothing I disliked, but people should be aware that there is no lift,. The stairs are wide and carpeted, so managing the case is not too difficult.
The hotel has a good feel. The owners are friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, in a quiet street close to the tram, the Loire and a short walk from many of the tourist attractions. The Lebanese restaurant next door is very good and there are many different types of restaurants within a few minutes walk. My room was very clean and comfortable with a French window onto a balcony with a table and two chairs and a very pleasing view over a quiet square with trees and old ruins. The room was large enough and the bathroom was new. The bed was really comfortable. Excellent value for money.
