We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe room was really dated looking one toilet style sink, shared bathroom Wich was essentially the upstairs toilets for the bar and they were blocked. Shower was clean to be fair but stunk in there. The room had a funny smell to it too. It's miles outta the city centre but not too far from the airport so depends what you want really but I Would not stay there again but I'd go for a beer in there bar for sure.

The staff is great and the location is just perfect for who needs to get to airport early in the morning. Breakfast is really nice and the serving hours are great.

If you are traveling to VU university this hotel is perfect. Just a 10 minute bus ride away followed by another 10 minute walk in a very safe neighborhood. The rooms are cleaned every day and they are exceptionally cleaned. The continental breakfast was varied too. Boiled eggs, ham and cheese, jams, peanut butter, assortment of cereals and an assortment of bread. Would highly recommend it for students attending a conference at VU or the other universities around since it's cheap, clean, has a nice pub, surrounded by two parks.

SwitzerlandFor what the hotel is, everything was OK for me.
If you are looking for a modern hotel, better pay three times the price and stay at the airport. If you feel that a real Dutch Hotel run by very nice Dutch people and frequented by local people is for you, stay at the Abina. The bedroom, old style, came with clean cotton sheets and a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet had a good range of cereals, bread, cheeses, cooked meats and coffee that was regularly refreshed with fresh hot coffee. Google maps is not a big help for arriving on foot, the 300 bus from the airport to Amstelveen bus station about once every 10-20 minutes for €3.00 shows up but not the bus that will drop you off close to the hotel on weekdays. The hotel staff has a useful information sheet in English, telling you how to go to Amsterdam by bus from the Kruiskerk bus stop about 10 minutes walk away. The route takes you past the Concert Hall, Museum area etc.
