Stunning hotel Close to everything Jose and Carolina are the sweetest people you could ever meet. Nothing was too much trouble you felt so looked after here. Can't praise them enough. The hotel suites were beautiful and the housekeeping staff were fantastic xx

Not complaints

Hotel Acacia is a wonderful boutique hotel which we stayed for a week. Jose and Claudia hotel staff were amazing and went out of their way for us to enjoy all the comforts. The hotel was spotless and they were always cleaning. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of fruit, yogurt, eggs, cheese, meat and avocado. Thank you to the chef! A friend was ill and they gave us an electrolyte supplement and made toast in the afternoon. Thank you to all the staff!

Could not use the pool

The rooms are a bit small, especially for 2 people with several suitcases. It's hard to combat the humidity during the cool months (especially after taking a shower). Shower temperature can swing from hot to cold and be hard to control sometimes. Sink faucets are too short, so you often flood the counter when washing your hands.

The hotel staff is very friendly and always seeing how they can make your stay better. Breakfast is cooked fresh every day when you order it. If you need to leave early for an activity, you can put in your breakfast order the night before and have it waiting for you in the morning. The hotel is away from the main street, so it's a lot quieter than being in the touristic center. The bed is very comfortable. The towels are very soft, and you can take beach towels for free. WiFi is pretty fast, considering the island location. There is a hot tub, pool, and lots of terrace space.

Room was great. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. Staff was very helpful with navigating the town, setting up day trips, etc. Would stay again.

BREAKFAST WAS CONSISTENTLY GOOD! OUR HOSTS (ESPECIALLY CLAUDIA!) WERE KIND, WELCOMING, AND FRIENDLY. ROOM WAS AS ADVERSTISED, AND THE HOST STAFF WAS SUPER HELPFUL, SPOKE GOOD ENGLISH, AND MADE SURE THAT ALL OUR NEEDS WERE ATTENDED TO!

Nothing. Everything was excellent.

Pleasant, comfortable, modern room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent A/C. Breakfast is fresh and options change daily. Located in a quiet area a block off the main street. Staff are OUTSTANDING, especially Carolina who provided us with great recommendations and services.

There’s nothing not to like!

What a lovely little hotel. Great location with a lovely pool and hot tub the breakfast was always nice and the staff very helpful and friendly I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were an asset they couldn’t do enough to help.

Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating. Every evening they will ask you what time your excursions start, hot breakfast is served after 630am but if you are leaving for an excursion around that time they will make sure to have a boxed breakfast ready for you. Claudia, Carolina, and Jose were so wonderful and knowledgeable about the area. Carolina has the best restaurant recommendations!

The Acacia is a lovely hotel. In addition to the large comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms, the staff is wonderful. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism, kindness and hospitality provided. One of the staff members even accompanied us to the medical clinic. Breakfast was also a treat. Location is just off the main square. Very easy walk to everything.

Not all of the windows had shades & I like it dark when I sleep.

It’s a block off the main street but it’s in the heart of everything but not on main with all the traffic. The streets are made of pavers so it’s quiet. Great a/c. Catalina was a great host who even stayed a little late for us to make sure we were ok. Great customer service!

It was a expensive for what it is, however generally that was my overall feeling for most of the hotels in that area.

The water temperature in the shower tends to fluctuate hot and cold, but I'm not sure there's anything that can be done about that. Not a big deal or a show-stopper by any means.

What an exceptional property! This immaculately clean boutique hotel has approximately 12 rooms on 3 storeys with wide open, airy common spaces to relax. Someone is always sweeping or cleaning around the small complex. The reception staff are incredibly welcoming, hospitable and helpful without being intrusive and English is well spoken. They can arrange everything for you as well as being partnered with a helpful travel agency next door. They can also send out for laundry service. Beach towels are available. Rooms are well appointed with all the standard travel essentials and tastefully decorated with local art featuring Galapagos wildlife themes. There is also an evening turn down service. The in-room A/C works very well and a small fridge is included. The table service breakfast is fresh and delicious and portions are large. You start with juice, fruit and yogurt followed by a different themed egg dish as a main course. Location in Puerto Ayora is excellent: just a few convenient steps away from the restaurants, shops and piers on the main avenue but far enough away such that it is nice and quiet in the evening. Should we ever return to Santa Cruz, this is where we'd stay. Again.

Absolutely nothing- it was wonderful all around. 10 out of 10!

What an exceptional hotel! A perfect location, just a block off the main street with views of the water. We had the water view room and it was wonderful. The rooms are well equipped, modern, and quite stylish. As wonderful as the facilities are, it is the service that stands out even more- just wonderful. So kind and attentive to all your needs. Breakfast is great- I’m vegan and they went out of their way to make sure I had a great breakfast (the other half of our party was not vegan and had wonderful breakfast as well). I really can’t recommend this hotel more- I would definitely stay here if I’m lucky enough to return.

nothing, absolutely amazing!

It was so welcoming and we loved Carolina and Jose!! The facilities were clean and the rooms had AC, which was perfect for humid days! There was plenty of space to relax by the pool and on the roof terrace. the breakfast was outstanding and fresh. empanadas, eggs, pancakes, plantains, fresh fruit and yogurt every day. the property is also quiet, slightly off the main path, but a close walk to restaurants, shops, and the ocean!
