Positive section of review
This hotel is like a little oasis in a nice area of Chaoyang district. I was there twice alone for travel and then for work, both times for a few weeks, and it's just perfect if you prefer a family-run-type of business instead of the big corporate hotel chains. The location is fantastic -- ca 15 min work from both dawanglu metro station (lines 1 and 14) and jindailu (line 6); many bus stops too. It's close to shopping centres, restaurants (both cheap and posh), supermarkets, barbers and pretty much anything you might need/want. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. You can wash and tumble dry your laundry for free and you get all the little things of a good hotel (including free water bottles daily). It's also pretty safe and quiet, as it's not right on the road but nested in a residential area. A taxi from there to capital airport today costed me about 60 RMB (with alipay app).

It is a very convenient place to stay if you have an overnight layover at Beijing Capital Airport. Easy to catch transfer that runs multiple times in an hour. Beautifully designed lobby, very nice and spacious room (the standalone bathtub was a nice surprise and was perhaps the most comfortable bathtub I laid in). Breakfast selection is excellent, with fresh juices, eggs multiple ways (incl. perfectly made poached) soups and noodles, whatever your heart desires.

The hotel location is amazing, close to the metro and the main shopping street. There are shopping centres and restaurants all around and it's very easy to move to any point of the city. The room was spectacular, clean and spacious with everything you may need during your stay. The staff speaks english, which is not to be given for granted.

My room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was great. The room where breakfast is served is on the top floor, and you get a great view of the airport and out to sea from there.

Although it's an airport hotel, it's not actually that close to the airport. A lot of flights get into Shenzhen early in the morning, but the hotel doesn't offer early check-in. I was able to leave my bags there though.

There is no view from the room. Chambermaid was eager to clean the room every morning, which is a positive point, I think. But does not take no for an answer, disturbing our privacy n peace.
