Nothing! Everything was so good.

Old house has its own soul and vibes. Everything like furniture, interior, old books and other things make you feel you are traveling 100 years back in time. At the same time you have access to free wifi, free parking and bar (not free =)). The owners and stuff are so friendly and trying to help with all your questions. Special thanks to Stephen (the owner) and his suggestions. Also Stephen has exceptional collection of whiskeys in his bar and can tell you everything about any bottle. Really enjoyed our conversations with him.

While the effort to keep much of the original building intact is understandable, there were some parts that could've used a little modernizing, like the bathrooms. Wi-Fi was also not great but that was communicated very clearly, so it wasn't a surprise.

The location was very cozy and welcoming. It was like going back in time to a world before the internet, which was pleasant. The staff was very friendly and my stay was uneventful. I liked that breakfast was offered and it felt very personal, but I regret that my scheduled didn't allow for it. Next time...

We really enjoyed the peaceful setting and it was ideal for us hiking on the Bruce Trail. The history of the place was interesting to us and the pictures and furnishings gave a sense of all the life lived there.

Nothing - all was good!

This is a very picturesque B&B in the country. We loved cozying up by the fire with a drink at the end of the night. Stephen was a great host. Definitely recommend this place for a cozy getaway! Great hiking around the area as well. Continental breakfast was tasty and enough for us (coffee, muffin, yogurt). You can pay for a larger breakfast if you prefer.

The quality of the mattress could be improved.

Breakfast was excellent, location for our needs was perfect. Location is very peaceful and very welcoming. As a bed princess, the bed was creaky and very hard, however, bedding was adequate and very clean. I/we would return for another stay.

The cold water tap in our toilet room was very hard to turn with arthritic hands. Warm was ok.

There was no wifi in the section of the B&B where I stayed however a few short steps down the stairs and I was connected. This limitation had minimal impact on my stay.

I was looking for a quiet spot to rest for the night and I found exactly that. The B&B oozes character from the +100-year-old walls and I thoroughly enjoyed investigating the building by looking at the very interesting articles and pictures that covered the walls. From check-in to check-out, the staff was wonderful and made me feel like an old friend coming for a visit. My breakfast conversation with the general manager was very enjoyable.
