Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe location was perfect. In the village of Wellington, near the lake and beach, a fabulous Brewery opposite with a great pizza oven and a cafe also opposite with a superb breakfast. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were first rate, comfy bed and good facilities, very clean. We will visit again and stay for longer. It was our favourite place to stay

CanadaUpgraded to garden suite, paid extra and not sure what the benefit was. When I messaged the owner about this, she didn't reply. Would not recommend upgrade. Also the site showed a total price and then once we paid, additional taxes in the amount of $90 we're added on. I found this deceiving. Other than that, the stay was wonderful.
The location was good, the suite was very well stocked and comfortable, and Rick was very helpful and accommodating.

CanadaThe rooms, unfortunately, could use more soundproofing, as we could hear the neighbours quite clearly.
This property is very well appointed! The living area was great for playing cards and the kitchenette had everything you could possibly need. The rooms were bright and spacious and the vaulted ceilings gave the suite a very luxurious feel. The location could not be better! There is a grocery store right next door and an a brewery across the street that serves the most delicious fire roasted pizzas! We were also able to walk to some of the wineries/breweries along the trails.

CanadaThe only minor drawback, was that we could hear the people downstairs talking through the vent in the bedroom. So, I put a cushion on top of the vent to mute the sound, as we couldn't close the vent. Minor, as we didn't spend the day in the room!
The location and property was perfect. The suite was amazingly spaceous, comfortable and clean! The bathroom had a soaker tub which we used almost every night. Walking distance to two wonderful restaurants, or a 10 min. drive into Bloomfield. The host was there to answer any questions and offer tips on where to go. It is a great place to stay!

Great spacious suite with one huge king bed room and a sofa bed (like double bed), a kitchen with almost all the appliances and a huge clean bathroom. This was a great stay and the owner was so friendly.
