The room faced the atrium and it was LOUD! Very loud. I'm not talking just normal conversation. There were kids yelling, coaches yelling, dogs barking, kids running and a lot of partying in the common area right below my room. On Saturday, the noise was inescapable until almost midnight. Also, the door to the bathroom is glass, didn't allow for any privacy. The glass wasn't clear, but it didn't shut all the way. The noise was only bad one of three nights, but it was too much for me.

Location was great. The room was very nice and clean.

We were amazed at two things: 1)the noise from the pool was extremely loud with a number of screaming kids (and we like kids) - we wondered where the parents were and why they let their children scream like that in a hotel. 2)there was a family with two dogs right next to us on the night we were at the hotel, and the dogs started barking at 11:00pm. They barked four different times before midnight, then at about 7:00am they started again. We are dog owners ourselves but wonder if people with dogs should be in a separate area of the hotel so that they do not disturb other patrons.

Great park behind the hotel - would be good to advertise the lovely, walkable park just steps from the hotel.

Room locations for guests were all next to each other at the back of the building. If you do not put a sign on door by 10 am miss the chance to have your room cleaned and serviced. This was not explained when checking in but was contained on a page of notes.

Air Conditioner should aim towards the bed more. Had to get up and turn it colder to be comfortable. Was told not to eat the breakfast because it isn't any good. They should work.on that.

Elevator is small & slow. Long walk to some rooms, not a lot of parking. No continental breakfast. Very tiny hot tub.

The rooms surround the pool atrium on three sides, with two of the ends having some rooms that face out and some that face the pool. Ours faced the pool. While the view of the pool is interesting, it's not the same as looking at the scenery. The hotel sits on the edge of a gorge (a coulee, in local parlance) and I'd have loved to have gotten a room with that view. Fortunately, the pool has a curfew because the sounds of kids enjoying the water reverberate through the space and that's hard to drown out -- especially when you can't find anything to watch with the terrible choice in programming offered on the TV.

The hotel has an indoor swimming pool in an interior atrium. It's interesting to look at with trees and winding paths and small tables to sit at. The onsite restaurant was phenominal. I'll go back there even if we don't stay at the hotel.

Friendly staff. Vincent, the front office manager, is fantastic. Clean and comfortable rooms and very well situated. Easy driving access to key roads and highways and easy walking around downtown. It has a neat atrium with a jungle and a pool so you can pretend you are somewhere exotic. The fitness room is small and could be better equipped, but you can get a decent workout. The italian restaurant on site is worth a try. Though there's lots of good food options nearby....
