The room was elegantly decorated, clean and comfortable, it was a great stay, we enjoyed the care and attention to detail from the owners, Michael and Roberto, who were both friendly and professional and have done a great job in making this a great place to stay as well as maintaining the picturesque surrounding garden. The chocolates and local ginger cookies were a lovely touch, as was the interesting selection of books on walks and history of the local area and board games available in the inviting sitting room. The owners prepared a delicious coffee and cooked breakfast, catering also for gluten free and lactose free needs and even provided some helpful recommendations for interesting places to visit around Hobart. Would definitely stay here again.

What is there not to like, the hosts were great, attentive but not intrusive. Our room was amazing , the bed so comfortable, the decor was perfect. Loved the sitting room, beautiful fire and port nightcap included. Breakfast was cooked to order and absolutely delicious. Lovely garden.

This place is a rare find. Beautiful with all the little extras that made it a memorable stay. The room was gorgeous with a super comfy bed. The lounge was warm and comfortable and perfect for a drink before bedtime. And the breakfast was superb.

Couldn't fault it.

Fully renovated, heritage, hosted guesthouse on a quiet street. Cute little breakfast room overlooking the garden. Breakfast was excellent: local bacon, eggs and yoghurt, homemade jams and fruit preserves. Our room and the house were both spotlessly clean. Bathroom modern and a good size, water pressure good, plenty of towels. We had a king size bed which was supportive and fitted with a pillowy mattress topper. Wall air con & electric blanket were welcome as it was quite cold. The friendly and helpful owners, who live on site, were there when we needed them but otherwise discretely behind the scenes. There is a cosy guest lounge room with gas fire which had been lit before we arrived. There is also a guest sunroom overlooking the pretty back garden which would be a lovley place to soak up the sun in the summer. Tea & coffee facilities with fridge and fresh milk in the room. Parking on site. Close to the attractions of New Norfolk - the Agrarian Kitchen, antique stores, Saturday food market, the Bush Inn...

I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was beautiful and the lounge, garden room and breakfast room were exceptional, I could really relax! Breakfast was a delight - plentiful, beautifully presented and so yummy. Little treats such as homemade biscuits and chocolate added an extra touch.

The walls were a little thin for the noise sensitive but didn't bother us and we would stay there again.

The room and bathroom was a little small for two, with suitcases.
