“Absolutely a beautiful spot. Stayed in Patty’s Flat. Excellent location right on the river. Lovely comfortable bed. Would stay again in this Flat in a heart beat!”
“Great views for timelapse photography, especially sunset in June (when the clouds break). Unfortunately didn’t catch any aurora this time but good south facing potential down on the water. Cosy fire, lots of nature and quiet. Beautiful 😊”
“The location is magnificent, lots of bushy land running down to the water. Hosts were fantastic! Fresh cake on arrival and fresh produce from the garden even though it was winter - kiwi fruit, lemons, passion fruit … and we were invited to help ourselves if we needed spinach, herbs - anything that was in season basically. On site hosts were welcoming and helpful - but not invasive. Stacks of firewood for the wood burning stove. Games, books to read … house is off grid, but good internet - no TV.”
