The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, they assisted with booking taxis and with restaurant recommendations, they also gave us a complimentary drink. The little touches were really nice such as the books in the room, communal sunscreen/bug spray to use and there were cookies provided daily. The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast; not too heavy and it was the best breakfast we had during our stay in 5 hotels in the Yucatan. This was the last part of our honeymoon and it was really nice to finish this way. Thank you!

This was easily the nicest accommodation during our whole trip through Yucatán. Angela gave us such a warm welcome so that we felt instantly at home. She helped us with anything we needed, e.g. renting a scooter. The apartment is really spacious, well equipped and the private pool was of course absolute luxury. But also the rooftop pool was amazing. The flat is really well located with a supermarket and frutería right around the corner and also the ADO bus stop is in walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice stay for those who want to avoid the zona hotelera and still want to relax getting a 5 star experience. This little gem is located in the jungle: we really enjoyed having our lunch surrounded by Yucatan Jay and so many butterflies! The Maya and relaxing massages are just incredible, it's a must to have. Cristina was so professional!! All the staff is very careful and kind; we enjoyed having meals with other guests and being able to chill out before our flight back home.

Fantastic location. Plenty of parking space close by for my rented golf cart. The busy main streets are just 2 blocks from this hotel. The 2 ferry terminals - San Pedro Express and Waterski are within short walking distance from this hotel. The latter ferry terminal is for Chetumal, Yucatan, Mexico and Caye Caulker. The former ferry terminal is for Belize City and Caye Caulker. For those on a budget, this hotel offers good breakfasts, lunch and dinner menu at affordable prices.

We had a great stay at the Nomads Experience. The hostel is well located close to the ADO bus station, which is very convenient if Cancun is just one stop in the middle of a longer trip. There are also several good food places close to the hotel. We liked the room, which was clean and had everything we needed. When we left, Leonel was very kind to let us leave our luggage in the storage room for 3 days, until we come back from a short trip in Yucatan. Thank you!

This place was amazing. The location im Playa del Carmen was perfect. Our room was clean well kept. We planned to stay there for just 3 days, but we decide to stay for a week, making it the base to visit Yucatan and Q. Roo regions. The staff was simply perfect. Luis was the best host, always kind and helpful. He helped us in several occasions to manage daily tours and gave us always good advice about the place to visit. I strongly recommed this hotel.

I only have positive things to say about this property. It was great to have a little living room, the location was nice. It’s a bit of a walk from the beach, but it’s very close to cheaper restaurants and small mini vans that go all around Yucatan. The check in process was smooth and the lady on the phone spoke English perfectly, which isn’t always the case in Mexico. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and the Ac was working well.

the breakfast went well and the laundry service was exceptional and fast. The manager was extremely helpful throughout, incl the fact that he went out of his way to assist my wife with wheelchair assistance to visit ChichenItza, much out of his way to serve. He also oflfered local transportation, again out of his way. Also, the food at the restaurant was the best we had during our entire stay in the Yucatan. This was greatly appreciated.

We found Puerto Morelos to be a pleasant first stop on our Yucatan Peninsula journey, and our stay at Yax Kiin was an integral part of our sense of the town. A short walk from the beach, the hotel offered easy access to tasty restaurants & a morning run around town. Should we make a return trip to Quintana Roo, we would likely stay longer in Puerto Morelos, since it avoids the hustle & bustle of Cancun & Playa del Carmen.

The hotel is a beautiful historic colonial building centrally located right across the from the town square. The on-site restaurant offered a broad menu, including regional Yucatán fare. The staff were top-notch and always accommodating. Our basic room had two incredibly comfortable beds with very nice pillows and the decor was lovely. A delicious breakfast was also included in our stay. Parking was easy in their private parking lot.

Hotel Mayahau is ideally located as it's a 10-min walk from the Coba ruins (the tallest Maya temple in the Yucatan and the second tallest in the whole Maya world). The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming (you have to speak basic Spanish though). The swimming pool is peaceful and the patio was very cute! The bedroom is large and feels authentic. The food at the restaurant was one of the best in our trip in the Yucatan!

We stayed at this property for the first 2 nights in Merida and on the last night before returning to the United States. Both visits bookended a wonderful week exploring the beaches (Celustun in particular), Cenotes and FLAMINGOS in this less-crowed part of the Yucatan. We will particularly miss the friendly greeting of Berto as he welcomed us back to the hotel each evening when we returned from dinner. Berto you are awesome!

This was the only place of the four we stayed in while visiting the Yucatan that felt like it was actually in Mexico. It was positively charming, located just off Calzada de los Frailes, and good walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Antonio was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed having access to a kitchen, the upstairs open area was lovely and the pool was a real bonus. The rooms were lovely and spacious.

The room with sea view and terrace was amazing, pool lovely, staff super friendly and really helpful. Great location, comfortable beds, good restaurant. Best hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks travel in Yucatan. Also Puero Morelos is the best beach location we had (we went to Tulum, Cancun and Akumal, but we could never have afforded to stay in a beachfront hotel there). Puerto Morelos is beautiful and super chiller

Made a stop in Celestun on our Yucatán road trip and stayed 2 nights. Hotel is located second row to the beach and has very nice and spacious rooms. Seems like it was freshly renovated or very well maintained. The room was as clean as possible and the bathroom and shower were fantastic. Best water pressure so far on our trip. just a short walk to the main square and beach. Breakfast was freshly made and very delicious.

Wonderful views of the Laguna Bacalar! The owner, Horacio, is very helpful and informative - he even gave us a Lonely Planet of Yucatan for free. A walk from the town center, but fortunately there is a very good restaurant nearby the Amigos Hotelito. It is expensive for Mexican standards since - with its heavenly lagoon - Bacalar has become a highlight in Yucatan. The price is right for the location.

Really friendly staff at reception and restaurant who did all possible to create a great stay. Quiet location well off the Tulum beaten track - not for everyone but perfect for us. Good breakfast included. Nice pools overlooking the sea. Turtles came up on hotel beach to lay eggs at night. Private cenote a lovely place to spend the afternoon and easy to explore the Yucatan area from this base.

It is for everyone who enjoys tranquil , authentic place to stay with a vibe of yucatan small town life. We enjoyed mangrove canoe trip and very much visit of Isla Arena to crocodile farm

A jewel in a box... Everything was perfect, the room was very spacious, enormous bed, a lovely terasse with your own hammac. the garden/swimming pool, everything was the right taste.. The cuisine is totally worth it, a refined mix of local and Mexican cuisine. A must!! The staff was very nice and attentive. From our all trip in Yucatan, this was our most memorable place.

Location is perfect. We walked to everything. The staff is so kind they did everything they could to make our stay comfortable they let us check in early. They stored our luggage. The room was clean comfortable and beautiful. The ac was super cold! The pool areas is like a tropical paradise. The restaurant has really good Yucatán dishes, and It was pretty reasonably priced.
