We have stayed at other chateaus,, but this was a next level experience, also because you are the only guests as she only rents out one suite of the chateau. Feels very exclusive. After this marvellous stay we went to the Waldorf Astoria in Versailles, the Waldorf felt like an Ibis!

Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
The family with three children had a vacation. The hotel exceeded expectations. The room was clean and had everything necessary for relaxation, except for toiletries. There was crisp white bedding, plenty of dishes, a kettle, a toaster, and cookware. Everything advertised on the website was present in the room. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach. It's a very beautiful place with a convenient location if you have a car. There was a pool and a hammam on the premises.
It was lovely. We were there during Scottish October break and the place was pretty much empty, very quiet. Indoor swimming pool was a huge bonus as well.
