You are in the middle of the countryside yet have all the places that you would want to visit from Honfleur to the D Day beaches are so close in this lovely area of Normandy. Also a lovely bonus of having s swimming pool when coming back at the end of a trip. Our perfect hosts, Philippe for a lovely breakfast each morning, homemade brioche bread, cakes, orange juice, eggs and Pedro for cooking us our wonderful dinners! Philippe was so helpful, advising on places to visit and we had a problem with our car when on holiday and Philippe was at the end of the phone for help. He truly is an amazing, host, very talented, if lucky to hear him play the piano while having dinner or a glass of wine on the terrace is just magical. They make a wonderful team to make our holiday a very happy, perfect place to stay!

I am usually not an “easy keeper” as horse people state on difficult to manage horses. At Château Saint-Maclou I was an “easy keeper”.
