A converted convent high on the hill with lovely views of Lyon. The hotel has been modernised magnificently whilst also maintaining some of the original architecture. Rooms are beautifully appointed. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and always ready to provide advice when asked. We upgraded to the Medici suite and it was worth the extra Euros.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and I can confidently say it was the worst and dirtiest place I’ve ever encountered. From the moment I walked in, the entire property felt neglected and filthy. The rooms were a nightmare—stained carpets, dirty walls, and a foul odor that seemed to linger everywhere. The bathroom was even worse, with mold in the shower and grime on every surface. The linens looked unwashed, and the overall hygiene was appalling.
The staff was indifferent and seemed to care little about the guests’ concerns. I highly advise avoiding this place at all costs. It’s simply not worth the risk to your health or peace of mind.

Great location hotel basic but comfortable. Air conditioning not great on first day but did improve. Good quality shower. Very good metro and tram routes close by . Had a great meal in Asian restaurant just across the river. Close to open air swimming pool by the side of the river would of gone if a longer stay.
Beautiful hotel with gorgeous views over Lyon. Friendly and courteous staff. My husband and daughter enjoyed the heated outdoor swimming pool each day. Breakfast was delicious. Other reviewers mentioned the steep climbs up hill to return to the hotel so we were prepared. :) The hotel restaurant is gorgeous, elegantly rennovated and comfortable. We loved having a sitting area next to our table so our daughter could play there.
