Our landlord was incredibly patient and provided us with great assistance, ensuring a wonderful experience during our stay. Overall, it's a great value accommodation, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again when my family visits the UK in the future!

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. It offers stone walls and en suite bathrooms. Everything. Usually stay in Keswick town but decided on a change and so glad we ended up here. The hotel is decorated in perfect style, quite decadent, lovely snug and lounge area to see the views. Walks close by and Keswick ten minutes away by car. The hotel is dog friendly and there were a lot of dogs. Doesn't matter to me but to anyone not that keen the dogs go in the dining areas as I know friends of mine would not stay there for this reason , but a perfect spot for the many dog lovers. Lovely to lay in bed and have a beautiful view 😊my room was smallish but honestly big enough as really, how big does one need? 🤷🏼‍♀️

The bedrooms were so clean, spacious, cosy, and modern. The beds were so unbelievably comfortable! The staff were so welcoming, and couldn't do enough to make you comfortable. The food was exceptional! Would highly recommend it to anyone, we'll definitely be going back!

The property has garden views and is 38 km from Wasdale and 40 km from Lake Windermere. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. Megan was a wonderful host- she answered all our questions and even allowed us a traveling breakfast on one morning we needed to leave early. Her husband Peter was wonderful in showing us around the farm animals and even did a sheep shearing and sheep dog demonstration for us. The farm is off the beaten path and gave me some great opportunities to practice driving a manual car. This property has great views and allowed us to get some good relaxation. Highly recommend!

Housed in a building dating from 19th century, this holiday home is 29 km from Scafell Pike and 32 km from Buttermere. The property is non-smoking and is set 24 km from Muncaster Castle. Had the most wonderful stay at Bank End. Peaceful and in the perfect location for St Bees, Whitehaven and Cockermouth. The washing machine was so handy after a very wet walk around Loweswater. The cottage had everything you needed and was very clean. Comfy bed and super cosy. Great little garden and wonderful views. The neighbours were so friendly! Cannot wait to stay again.
